Well the room is painted and it looks good eldest is pleased and thats the main thing.

As for gambling been to busy to even think about it this weekend,which is quite nice as when money is tight it seems to creep in.

As some of you may or may not have noticed i havent been posting as much as i normally do,the reason being im backing off just abit i will post everyday and post on others but my diary became a bit of an obsession and i spent a huge amount time on here reading and posting and i need to start getting my life back without this recovery/addiction taking centre stage.Dont get me wrong this diary is a life line for me and ive read enough diaries of people who stop posting and slip back into old ways and thats not what i want to happen.

So your not getting rid of me i'll still be here everyday just not for the amount of time i used to spend on here.

LO kept me awake coughing most of the night and the eldest for some unknown reason has his alarm set for 6 which woke everyone except him so all in all ive had about 4 hrs sleep last night and now my bed is calling:0)

hiya E....understand how you feel...and how gam care is a lifeline and haven for us,but we need to also reimmerse into our normal lives aswell.

Doing some of that myself as you know as are others on here...as they say in the rooms..."the door swings both ways"..if you go and come back in days ..no one is going to think any worse of you...

I had a good cry when I made the decision to go it on the outside...separation anxiety...linus without a blanket....and end of an era ...

Selfishly I will miss your daily posts on here but understand you need to spread your wings too......

I still read and post but not the same as before either ...always here hun......you know that...the good the bad and ugly...its unconditional xx....wuffs xx..

I find the same - that I don't want to spend too much time on the forum. I often just don't have time! I don't know how others manage to read everyones diaries everyday.

Good day today been very busy work this morning then tidying up the last of the mess from from the weekends art project.

Doing up my house is my project for the next six weeks or so its only a temporary house so nothing to special but it will keep me busy and occupied when i get bored.

Well my mum has set up her Reiki table to give me a session before bed so if im still awake i will post replies later.

Having a up catch with one TL big bud, going under many guises as Elizabeth, LTWHLUFCEHCLIZ, top Mah/ daughter and G/C bud, the list goes on.

So easy to get distracted via these diary's but the peole who really matter in tthis order your, kids, you, mah, family, friends and some where down the list is us fellow c/g's or partners. We really need to priotise in life and just by putting you 1st, pays dividends for your circle....

Take care of you and the rest takes care of it self, so very true. Going to use my years in superioity (sp) in insisting my big bud heeds that advice......

As for taking a break from these pages,i find a huge part of my success so far is down to having a daily read though i haven't been doing that more recently for obvious reasons.

sometimes we haven't much to say gamblewise which is a good sign but a wee read here and there without posting certainly helps 😉

Reiki was very relaxing and i got a great nights sleep although mum says my knees and feet need more work oh yeah and my head no surprise there then lol.

Just to clarify im not leaving my diary or taking a break from posting everyday just not spending as much time reading and posting.

no gambling urges today although a few thoughts have crept in but they always do when money is tight.easily shrugged off though.

Another payday arrives tomorrow,i wish i got paid monthly then i wouldnt have to think about it every week although monthly pay when i was gambling would have been catastrophic.Its easier to get through a week with no money than a month.

Quite a quiet weekend eldest is away at a friends until sunday morning then out to lunch with my mum.so a chance to spend some quality time with LO and the usual household chores.

One of my exs brothers phoned me today to ask how i was and his nephews its only taken 18 months for any of them to phone to see how things are annoyed me more than anything.Where was the concern when i needed help to move house????????

Anyhoo off to get dinner.
