morning diary.Wow had a great night out last night spent a wonderfull evening with my wife who met me from work and we had a date, well it felt like a date not a first date no silences to be filled,no looking at my shoes and most of all no lying. We had a really good talk about many things outside of gambling and some things bought through my recovery,I as you know am sharing my recovery with my wife warts and all and she does read my diary as I feel she can gain valuable insights to how the process is working and that gamcare is a great place to learn, to end I said if she wanted to post something on my diary as a partner in recovery I would be proud and it may help others so watch this space!!.

Today back on the wagon for me and back to the stoves for another busy week I really am in a place of calm right now and today paid another debt off caused through gambling so that gets smaller.

Morning diary.

Today I have been thinking alot about faith. I am completly unreligious I think I have been into a place of worship maybe a dozen times in my life, but today I feel I have a faith of some kind dont know exactly what but I have a drive coming from within to push me forward,I am on reflection tired physically from the effort my new job has taken on( we have re-arranged the kitchen daily still not happy sorry lads lol) but mentally I feel like a sponge I crave to learn something new constantly, the gambler retracts deep inside of me I am not foolish and know he will always lurk in the depths of my soul but I do have the stick in hand,this forum,Ga and a growing army of support to batter it when it does rear its ugly head.But I dont know were to direct this faith maybe it is simply my own resolve I should thank, but I feel I do owe thanks to some higher power. I will continue daily to walk toward the light and maybe I will see a revalation along the way??I know that my miss placed faith in the bookmaker will today be lessened by those magic words NO BET TODAY.

Just read your last post. Firstly you have do e so incredibly well in what 14 weeks.

Changed so very much in your life, but in your strive to continue forward , remember to give yourself a break.

Is it the right time to take something on, only you know. You must have soooooo much sizzling round that brain of yours already.

Just try every now and again to stop just to catch your breath. Rome was not built in a day .

morning diary. Well been out with the dog stretched the legs for a few miles,then went to pick up my new(second hand) racing bike so Mr Lance Armstrong here I come (minus the lycra!!!!! combats all the way lol) off to work now got some exciting fish coming today will keep me busy and mind anywhere but thinking of having a punt.

Well Duncs we have sun and hopefully for more than a day..hose pipe bans being lifted in the south bit more too so its all looking good.

Im guessing a busy weekend down there for you...My fave eatery in Cardiff is getting more popular despite some duff posts on tripadvisor and I always ask to go say thanks to the Chefs.
