I take great delight in deleting those emails and text messages, they usually arrive at the same time each day just before or during the chat room. I feel so empowered in doing the right thing, to quote a song it gives me a sense of enormous well being. Keep the cycle that you`ve hit on going now. Quitting gambling can give me the highs i got through gambling. 30 days isnt just good, i thought id never make a month g/f, it is absolutely amazing. Take the positivity and momentum that you are seeing and now look into your life as a whole, if you can quit gambling for a month then you can achieve most things. So not just the gambling start making changes to all areas of your life that you are nt happy with. You are amazing now keep that going.

Day 1 for me.. I hope I get it right this time. Because my family and relationship is suffering because of my inability to focus.

@lids thanks so much! The past few days have been difficult, my poor dog has been unwell and we rushed her to the vets last night but thankfully she seems to be on the mend now! 
A month ago, even a few weeks ago I would’ve used this as an excuse to gamble to relieve stress - a huge trigger for me but I’m so pleased to say honestly although the thought crossed my mind I never tried to open a new account or even considered gambling. If anything, it made me feel so much more that without gambling I can reduce my debts & have the funds to help her whenever she needs it!! 
Here’s to a total gamble free future & heading into 2023 with the right mindset!

@haystack0915 im 23 days gamble free now i have had urges too as i was so annoyed at lossing £750 after abstaining from gambling for over 2 years however am proud i made use of £3500 which i had saved and have used that money which i couldnt have been done before i have been treating myself and even spent money on family so it a huge possitive for me

I'm chuffed, bet you look a million dollars this Xmas, not with just treats of clothes & accessories but how you feel about yourself. The eyes don't lie, don't tell me the sparkle ain't coming back, don't tell me others haven't noticed the change in you, don't tell me Xmas financially isn't less stressful this year. A few bob spare, not going to bed torturing yourself about making ends meet the next 31 days. You'll still get urges but everyday becoming more capable of saying to the gambling dens you're getting NOTHING from me.

I treated myself to a steak went to cinema watched Black Panther bought new jeans a jacket and trainers bought new ipone and a switch to keep me entertained and still have more money left wish i did this earlier im actually enjoying this new lifestyle lol

enjoy your break and stay strong, with each day I’m finding the desire to gamble less and less (even though today and yesterday I woke up to two texts from gambling sites) I took great pleasure in deleting and blocking the numbers.
