Hi Change,

Sorry to hear about your lapse. I really hpe there is not too much damage. Try not to focus on your slip. Remember, you managed 80 days gamble free. We all have our slip-ups. This goes with the territory. I believe what matters is that learn from our mistakes and hopefully they will help you to an even longer or permanent period of abstinence. Of course, I am a big hypocrite as I have failed learn from my own mistakes over and over again. 50 days until Christmas Change. Let's get there gamble free together. make sure you keep in touch with the forum in these early days. Right behind you my friend!

Best wishes,

Mark

Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes... reminds me of car rides going on holiday as a kid in my dads car. Class times.

Hi change

Thanks for posting on my diary. Yes, we are all in this together but following simple rules (Allen Carr) stopping gambling takes the edge off cravings. There are a few rules but the one’s that keep me going are :-

We shouldn’t be sad or stressed about stopping gambling as we are not giving anything up, in fact quite the opposite, we are liberating ourselves. Just like a big heavy ball and chain around our ankles for 10 years and we take it off one day, we are not going to be sad are we? but rejoicing.

Don’t even have that first bet.

Don’t ever question your decision to stop gambling.
