Thanks 212 I'll post to you later x Done it! Survived payday gf! In all honesty I don't know why I was so worried because I've barely had an urge just seeing my money still in my account is great and I've treated myself to new hat, gloves and scarf lol definitely good idea 212 lol. I think I was more scared before payday came cos I know what I've done so many times before it was harder before but this time a lot easier so pleased the resilience I'm building up staying gf is getting stronger every day. I love not gambling the lack of stress, worry anxiety depression makes life so much easier to handle, also the most obvious actually having money. Its good, very good, no going back now, ever. Best wishes everyone Lu x

Hi Deano thank you! Yes I'm good hun thank you hope you are too. I'm still gf and loving it! I was bit worried about payday but I've no urges at all just fleeting thoughts can't believe it. I feel absolutely over moon I'm gf despite problems with family etc it's so much easier to deal with when your not gambling. I'm getting a real buzz out of not giving those greedy sites any more of my money, i hate them for the way they prey on ppls addictions and they are so greedy some ppl somewhere have got rich on our misery makes me so angry. Best wishes everyone Lu x

Unfortunately we live in a world where everyone wants to take us to the cleaner's be they gambaling associated or other entities.
All we can do is make sure we don't add to their wealth.

I'm pleased that you're starting to put some good numbers down now.

Thank you for your post on my diary. And just to let you know the new runner is white. But I still wear the pink stuff lol
I'm waiting on santa to bring me some more manly attire.
That if I'm a good boy though lol

Have a great gamble free weekend

Deano x

Busy busy busy! Went to Nottingham Christmas market today and stayed at mum in laws yesterday and overnight haven't had any thoughts of gambling until now soooo tempted I've started to forget how I felt when I first started this post, suicidal, need to remember that. They aren't having one more penny of my money. All in all things not bad apart from family stuff but can't have everything hey? Hope everyone ok best wishes and stay strong x Lu x

Hi lulu, you must stay strong!! Look at your previous posts, they sound like your mental state has definitely changed for the better.
Just think how great it is to wake up and realise you have not gambled for a month now!!! More importantly remember how it felt to wake up knowing you had gambled and lost because it doesn't matter which way you look at it that's the usual scenario.
We never win because we cannot stop. Even when we're winning we want more and end up putting it all back in.
Don't let them have your hard earned money. Treat yourself instead. You deserve it - the gambling sites don't, they care nothing about you. They just take your money and laugh in your face. The last laughs on you. Kick that stupid urge into touch and walk on by with your head in the air!!! x

Can't believe I've not been on here for couple days! And not even thought about gambling. Been very busy also got family problems, my son mainly. It is getting me down but I've no urge to gamble I know that will not help in any way. Thanks lml for your post and thanks Anon for yours I'll post back later x I'm not even counting the days I'm just 'doing' it. I never thought I'd get to 2 days let alone this far. Been so busy with my son, Work, home could use a rest lol but at least when I'm that busy I don't even think about it. Best wishes everyone Lu x

Just looked at my counter for the days gf and I really thought it was longer than 37 days it sure feels like it! It's like that time before I was a different person with a different life totally consumed by gambling. I can't believe how much actual living I've done in these 37 days instead of a consumed gambling life. So much time as well as money wasted, does make me feel a bit sad. Losing money hand over fist and time and life along with it, sad. These last 37 days though full of living and loving it just not the family problems. Here's to many many many more gamble free days best wishes everyone Lu x

Hi Lu , thanks for your kind post the other day :)) all's good at the moment thanks but just a little hectic , just xmas looming and a few other things to deal with but lke you I'm not gambling and that's always a positive :)).

Great to see you doing so well Lu and upto 37 days already , you should be so proud of yourself for sticking to your guns and reclaiming your life back . Sorry to hear the jobs not what you thought it was going to be but as you said it's a means to an end and pays the bills plus you have next year to look forward to with all your plans and being gamble free as well :)).

Anyway's just wanted to say thank's for the posts and for all your support around the forum :))

Talk to you soon Lu xx

Hey Lu, thanks for the post, sorry to learn the jobs not as expected. Good luck with the accounts course that's a real positive thing to plan to do and shows how your thoughts have changed and that your in a much better place mentally. WIth regards to family issues, life does throw us a curve ball sometimes which I'm sure you will cope with especially now your gf. Give that cute little dog of yours a hug from me x stay strong, stay positive and remain gf X

Hi lulu thanks for the post.
Sorry to see you're having a few problems. But don't let that take away from how well your are doing staying gamble free.

As you were saying you feel like the day's where more than they are. Personally I think when you hit the 2 month mark the day's start stacking up fast then because your not really counting as much then.

Stay strong lu I know you will

Deano x
