Keep going Lu. Everything you write hits home with me too. Imagine how we will feel when it's all a distant memory and we have money to treat ourselves rather than pay debts!! One day at a time tho. My test will be next week when I am paid but I have to stick to this. Even tho I'm still in a mess I am seeing things so differently now. Thank you for dropping in on my diary. It really does help. We can do this!! x

It'll be 7 days this evening 🙂 I'm so happy I've got through those urges I fought them hard and this forum is a god send, just letting off steam and seeing the days mount up for me especially this time has always been hard I've gone a week before loads of times so my target is ten days and it'll feel great, I'm still positive the blue feeling has gone because I'm so happy I fought those urges and won for real. I have self excluded from remaining sites that I found registered then immediately self excluded . Tomorrow I've got to ring EE and get 18+ filter I haven't been able to do it as my hubby been at home. K9 is on my laptop now too. I also read on a post about stop gambling apps for I phone I've downloaded 2 and it's good as it works out rough amount you've saved by not gambling however it can only be worked out from day you download it so it's working out mine from today. Onwards and upwards going to do this best wishes everyone Lu x

Hey Lulubobs, so sorry I handbrake realised you had relapsed. So sorry I haven't been here to support and encourage you. The relapse, That's done with now, time to focus all your energy on keeping gamble free. I can honestly tell you it is worth it. The urges are blooming awful, I always gambled one my phone, one thrown it in a dark cupboard, sat on my hands, screamed, cried and alsorts to stop myself from gambling, it doesn't and never will just disappear. We just have to find away to not give in to it. That all familiar feeling of having gambled, is truly awful and I wouldn't ever want anyone to experience...even my worst enemy! But if you absolutely want this gamble free life, there is light at the end of the tunnel and we are all here for you. You are alread replacing time you would of spent on gambling by coming on here...that's a fabulous start! Keep strong, you rant, rave or what ever you need to do on here to get through day by day. Just baby steps for now and the days a clear head will come soon. Take Care cx

Thanks for the drop by Lu and your very welcome , I'm just so sorry youv'e been traumatised so badly and when you see my post's you see horrible shapes before your eyes .

Realy glad youv'e almost got to your Ist week gamble free :)) and I always think it's a great motivater to keep pushing forward Lu , youve worked so hard to get there you really don't ever want to go back to day one do you ? .

If you can do a week then there's absolutely no reason why you need to gamble , youv'e proved you can manage without it in your life and if that means taking it one day at a time then so be it , when these day's turn into weeks and then into months and you begin to see the things your able to have and enjoy again because of making that desicion , you'll love it honestly , everything becomes much clearer in life and all your self esteem and pride starts to return and all because you control you and gambling doesn't control you anymore , you take your life back :)).

I've seen already this week such a change in your post's Lu and the way your planning and thinking already about the future and that's just brilliant for me sat reading to witness , coz I know that your experiencing what I have this past year and I absolutely love it Lu :))>

Hi Alan & Charley thank you for posts this won't be long one cos coming down with a cold! Aching from head to toe, raging sore throat it's woman flu 🙁 just going to go back to bed off work all this week holiday and can't believe got this as bday tomorrow and supposed to be going out for a meal! This time I'm poorly though they'll be no gambling and I always said I'd be gf at 50 and onwards and that's what keeps me going too. Anyway back to bed 🙁 thank you both Lu x
