Well.......day 2 and im satrting to feel better. I feel excited about coming on to this forum and reading about the great success of others.
Today i recieved a phone call from Andy who has taken my details and will be in touch within the next week to arrange counselling sessions. I actually felt better even speakign to him on the phone. He was understanding of my problem and did not judge me in any way. Thank you Andy and i look forward to hearing from you soon.
Tonight i would usually log online and gamle or borrow money and head to the nearest bingo hall or casino however i have steered clear of it all. I have logged onto gam care and read the amazing comments i have been left by others. The support is overwhelming and to think other have went through the same as me just makes me feel so much better.
I have finished work today and contacted my payday loan companies and arranged payment plans. Today has been great and i have been so much happier at work after the phone call with Andy for once i feel like i am doing the right thing and getting help for this horrible illness.
Lets hope tomorrow is another great day. Well done to everone on here who is heading in the right direction

Hi folks - Day 3 and i need to be honest coming home from work and having my dinner i feel like gambling. My mind is thinking ach you dont have a problem but them my sensible head is thinking NO you do. I know i have a problem and i am sticking to my guns here and keeping clean. So i have decided to log on and spend a few hours on here rather than gambling. Anyways im off to read some other posts and have a chat with some other.

I just read your post and I am the same as you. Part of me is saying this is really stupid and I don't have a problem but deep down we really do. And it's serious!!
Just think, we are nearly through day 2 (or 3 for you) and almost another day closer to ridding this addiction.
