Day 65 second time around

It's my happy birthday today. Usually I 'treat' myself with 'only' £25 on the slots on special occasions, which of course turns into £200. Not this time. It's a week before payday, I still have money in the bank and to top it, my son has made me a lemon drizzle birthday cake. Now, at first glance my cake looks, ahem, well done. It's quite an interesting concoction, the bottom and sides are quite thick, chewy, burnt, lemony and sugary but surprisingly very tasty. The top half of the cake is lovely and moist, the bottom half has a distinct eggy taste, lol! I don't quite know how he's managed to do it, but the sentiment is there and I've bagsied the sides 🙂 He went out early this morning to buy the ingredients and made it from scratch. So, feeling blessed today, I might be another year older, not necessarily wiser, but I am gf and not tempted in the slightest.

Hey twinklyr , back for good ? Dunno yet , do miss this but it's about balance I think as I was getting a bit all consumed by it , if that makes sense ?, maybe just be a bit more selective in my posting , Oh my gawd , I seyndid all proper posh then innit though ? LoL !

As for being June's / kelly / Odaaat/ W T f 's Dad , well the DNA's inconclusive ( Stewards enquiry ) I think they call it ?

I'll be around , lets just say that but hey , your in the capable guiding hands of Jason D and he looks a proper geezer in that technicolour dreamcoat of his , splashing his colour all over the forum as he goes brightning up peoples days ( well most people that is ) He's like a dulux colour chart on steroids and he's doing a great job on here and thats for sure !.

I did notice though how well refrained you were earlier though ,so well done you and its good to see all the joss sticks and chanting are having a calming effect on you , bye the way you really must tell me where you buy those tiny little symbols from?,

Morning twinks , nothing exciting regarding my hours I'm afraid ( I wish ) , just finished late and an early delivery this morning .

Good for you enjoying life and not rising to the bait of others ( note to self , try it ! ) , to me though there a bit like prince philip on a state walkabout , you know he's going to say something not quite right and you feel the need to respond a bit , just don't like people who disrespect others by posting about there attitude to recovery being wrong , if its not working then fine , have a dig but when it clearly does work , leave them alone . ( in my humble opinion of course ).

And yeah , with a b**t like kylie's youv'e got no problem , to be honest she'd look pretty foxy in a welders mask and flippers or is that my addicted / warped mind , not quite sure which one I have any more ? Oh my lord I've started thinking too hard again off for some chanting and a couple of nurofen !!.

Yeah , I should learn a bit of restraint sometimes but I've never been one to back away from bullies , can't stand em and as far as I'm concerned they reap what they sow , just watching out for the witches of eastwick now , LOL !

Hiya twinks , how's me favourite kylie tribute doing then , 300 miles you say , was that there and back or are you holed up in some travel lodge in the middle of deliverance country ? TBH I'd forgotten about the 200mark , bit silly celebrating this one though coz I only turned 180 a couple of weeks ago and at this rate I'll be havin more birthdays than Her Majesty , besides you know what happened the last time I had friends round , wet cake and all , I like a moist Victoria sponge as much as the next Compulsive Gambler but that was ridiculous ! Thinking of just having cocktails though , as long as they've got those little umbrella thingy's we should be good ! Sorry to see Jase go but I think once he's had a rest and had his big coat dry cleaned he'll be back splashing colour around quicker than you can say Wankel rotary engine and that is a real thing not some made up stuff you know ! Oh yeah and I didn't gamble today ! Have a goodun ! X

Morning diary,

Well, I feel like I'm in some sort of twilight zone on here. It seems to be perfectly acceptable to respond to my friends very gracious apology by calling him bitter, and to judge me whilst calling me judgmental - mucho loco, mucho loco.

Ignore and breathe. I worked hard yesterday and was truly shattered when I got home so fell to sleep quickly but when I awoke, I had a lovely email from an old friend from here, God bless him. Next stop, check GC. Wish I hadn't really.

On a plus note, 78 days - high five!

Hi twinks, thanks for the drop by ! , Yeah , when they go off to uni it does tug at the heart strings a bit , just the fact that there growing up and venturing off to the big wide world , although in fairness it took bloo.dy ages to get rid of my daughter completely , even when she graduated and met different boyfriends , she'd move out , come back , move out come back , it got so bad I had a revolving door put in but now she's settled with "The one " shes not returned for a couple of years ( mini fist pump ) whoooo, yaaaaah !! . Sorry just got emotional then LOL!.

But everytime my lad goes back I really miss him but I have the consolation that the house stays clean , so take that as a positive .

All work now done for the day so until I clock on for tommorows shift , with new overalls and the end in sight I'm off to have a glass of something and watch some pointless T.V !.

Thanks for posting on my diary a few weeks back and your comment re my input into the 2015 challenge. I've been away, done some gambling and now I'm back to kick gambling's b**t again.

Love this from a previous post on your diary ....

One thing that becomes clearer by the day being on here, is that no one ever says 'I gambled again and it was great! I'm so glad I did it'

So I guess you were right. I didn't love it and I'm so very glad I've now made tomorrow my day one !

Ps Happy Birthday last week, hope the cake was lush.
