I'm back yes, and day one ! I know it's difficult to come back after a period of time but rather be spending time on here than anything else. Just wish I could block gambling apps from my iPhone as k9 software doesn't stop u downloading the apps. Glad to see your days mounting up, well done to you. Keep at it !

Haha! I know, that's what my life has reduced to, playing backgammon on line against some geriatric gamer on the other side of the planet, lololol! I've never played in in real life of course, I'm not that old. Are you both going to hold it against me that my son plays bridge though, haha! He's even in the bridge club lol! Sorry to here youv'e not been well , tbh thats why I haven't posted in case it was catching , I always worry about computer viruses these days , I almost want to know what youv'e been diagnosed with but then again maybe not eh , it's certainly not potty mouth though as it's kept you VV quiet of late (and that was very , very not volksvagen coz that would just make no sense at all ) .

I am glad that your post didn't freeze on the words " I'm well overdue " though as it would proberbly would have meant you didn't have a virus , well maybe a 9 month one depending on how you look at life I suppose ?.

Glad to say I'm back at work today as I need a rest after my DIY holiday session , all my electrical work was tested and connected by someone with big letters after his name , it didn't go bang , which is always a good thing , I finished the chimney and the plasterers have been in and made it all pretty again , kitchen fitter today , at least thats who she said he was when I popped in but I'm not so sure coz his overalls were as tight as one of Deano's dresses .?

Anyway glad to see you up and around as it has been a bit quiet of late and thank's for the drop in ! .

Today is the anniversary of the start of my demise 7 years ago. What started as a recreational small £5 bet on the grand national on line turned into a £40k online slot gambling debt. £40k. For that reason, something that was always a 'fun' day, almost a family occasion because my family was big enough to do a sweepstake between us (which we did, often, for as long as I can remember) turned into the devil on my back. It's probably part of the reason that I hate technology and long for the good old days of no internet, 4 channels on the telly and humans living in a real world doing real things instead of being taken over in an electronic land. So, I'm listening to some music and my tv won't go on because any reminder of 'that race' is bad for me.

Stay strong twinks keep that triangle broken and you will be just fine. Just show how progressive this gambling malarky is. £5 snowballed into 40k. That's in the past now keep going the way you are a gamble free life is a guaranted win.

Hey twink's ! Some irony there girl , longing for the the day's of no internet and here we all are posting on line to each other , so maybe some good from bad eh ? . ( can you remember walking to the corner of the road to use the phone , lol ), I can remember when we finally had a phone installed in the house , having to ask my Dad for permission to use it and then being timed because in his word's " Do you know how much that's costing me " , good times though !.

I think weve all got our memories of certain events ref the National and our gambling , said the same on my diary yesterday , some good memories and some not so good for me but he,ho it's just another day for me now.

Never been to the garlic farm but it has a really good rep , so I'd imagine you'd be safe in the cafe ( unless your a vampire of course ) then prob best not to go there at all ? , just be sure to wear your best ( cloves ) though ! . Be honest you new I'd drop a no dad joke in there ? . ooh , ooh just thought and stay away from the ( stake ) ! Is that enough for now da ya think ? .

Trying to think of a Des O'conner song now and all I can come up with is " Dic.k a dum dum " ? Actually I was dragged along to see him in a show by my mum when I was little , she was a massive fan ( always usefull in hot weather ) but nobody wanted to go with her so I was forced at gunpoint ! .

Yeah I've had a few good holidays on the island especially when the kids were young but not been for few years even though its not that far away, its quite laid back which is nice when you want to switch off . Blackgang's great when your a kid and I think they still have the giant smuggler outside ( must be a joke there somewhere ) ? but yeah , it's a shame its disappearing fast these days.

You'l be alright I've booked the weather but to be honest its always a few degrees warmer over there in its own little micro climate , " selling your wares " uhm ! sounds a bit victorian , a bit Nell Gwyn like ? don't worry you'll fit right in over there ! .
