Day 141 Gamble free
Great day today but what day in recovery isn't great. No bets today so it was a great day.
Dismantled trampoline ready to move out in two months time. Not found anywhere to move to yet.
Spent some time on here and step 4 of the 12 steps. Couple of podcasts which were amazing.
Checked out Al Pacinos monologue at the GA meeting in the film two for the money which is superb.
Met up with three other fellows for an Asian Fusion meal before GA tonight which was such a good laugh and then GA which was a powerful room tonight.
Day 142...late entry for yesterday - Friday
Good day all round. Did some more step 4 work and had a good chat with my sponsor.
Lunch time was a good Gamfam zoom meeting with a few new faces. Good topic to discuss as well so I did quite a long share.
Plenty of family time in between recovery work.
Went to GA this evening which was a really good meeting and needed just a little more pep in my step to ensure I didn't drop back into self pity with everything going on in my life.
Onwards and upwards, one day at a time.

Day 143
Good day today. Went down to parents to look after my Dad and let my mum go out and do some food shopping. Couple of good calls with friends from GA. Online meeting for GA this afternoon which is meeting 15 of 90 in 90 days. Busy chatroom tonight with some good conversations. Step 4 work on resentments which is now finished and onto Fears on Tuesday
Just enjoying each day as they come.
Day 144 GF
So if I keep powering on, one day at a time then I hit 150 on Saturday
Fabulous day today. Really enjoyed a mix of family time and recovery work
Spend quite a bit of time on here and on the Evive app. Had some really good conversations on here on various posts. Always gives me recovery time reading and replying, no different to shares in GA.
Went to a GA online at 1 for an hour. Watched the football and of course Spurs lost cruelly
Spoke to my sponsor and had a really good chat plus another two fellows.
Really good chatroom tonight with some first timers. Hope they post on here so members can reply with support and help.
At GA tomorrow so will miss the chatrooms unfortunately as I do love them

Unfortunately I go to GA Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays plus the odd Friday. I will try and be on the 6pm one tonight before GA as I really miss them. Definitely on all three in the evening on Wednesday 6, 7 and 8. I also try and do the lunch time ones
Day 145 GF
Only 5 days to go to 150 and celebrate five months on my mum's birthday which will make her day
Today was a great day. Did a tip run with the imminent moving house.
Went for a lovely walk around the lakes with a good friend from GA

Dashed down to my 3rd home GA meeting which was really good tonight and some powerful shares in the room and a good turnout as well.
Off to the modern meeting in 55 minutes which has a great topic tonight so will be looking for a long share

How lovely that such a magnificent milestone will be on your Mum’s Birthday 🩷. I am sure this will make her day, knowing how much you are putting into your recovery and the rewards it is bringing not only to you but also your family, including your Mum!

Day 146 gamble free
Sounds like a decent number now but no complacency and driving on to that 200 number , one day at a time.
Today was a great day but then what day isn't magnificent without gambling
So the day started with a big bang. The modern meeting from America ran from 1am to 230am and was incredible. Some really good shares, great topic and I shared first so I could remove myself from the freezing utility room to my bedroom,.much warmer and used the headphones not to wake my kids up. Only had four hours sleep as needed to take my daughter to the train station to go to Uni.
Back home and drove down to see parents which was another amazing experience as my Mum was asking me to explain the 12 steps and was really interested.
Drove back home which was pains taking because of the traffic, mad dash to find a pharmacy for my daughter's epilepsy meds, which one hour sleep then off to meet my sponsor in the pub for step 4 work. Great conversation and we get on so well. Then my GA 1st home meeting which was another good event, good turnout and some very heart felt shares to continue a great week all round.

Full day and feel I've been the best version of Stuart today which is all I can try and achieve. Missed the chatroom but will be on tomorrow at 8 to catch up with everyone I've missed since Sunday. Love this site and the power of this community. It kept me alive through the first insane weeks in recovery. It's kept me going so a massive thanks to Gamcare and thank God it's available every day 24/7

Wednesdays seem to be a little slow on the recovery recovery front but powered through.
Spent the day food shopping and charging the car. Run to the tip to get rid of some stuff before the forced move and nothing up for rent still. Still no job yet and that's starting to get more urgent. Serenity prayer on those two fronts but doing all I can.
Had two zooms within the sector early on and jumped off one early to get on the chatroom at 8. Then after I went to a GA online which is now meeting 19 of 90. I would love to know how many ice done in total as it must be very close to 100 meetings.
I love this community and I hope anyone reading this is having a great gamble free week.
