Morning,
Beautiful day outside.
Sorry, I had wrote out a long post, but after re- reading it, it sounded like pure self-pity, as I can't delete my post, I have edited it down to this.
Stuart and Tazman, I enjoyed reading your posts - thank you, they helped. Stuart, the blossom is truly beautiful,
Warm regards,
Michaela.

Hi Michaela
What a beautiful name to go with the cherry blossom. I can understand and I often fall into a state of self pity and dragged back to thinking about the past or the future. For me, that's really unhealthy and won't help me live in today.
How are you doing and getting on ?
By the way, it's always good to smile and every time I go out for a cigarette today, the wind in the cherry blossom gives me a pink crown lolÂ
@lp5vut869c thanks Stuart.
I usually go by the name of Kylie (it's a nickname from school)Â however Michaela is my real name, truth be known I prefer Michaela.
I have struggled a bit today, I won't go into things too much (bit boring for you and other readers). I have been focusing on being kind, and going out of my way to be so. I was at a get together yesterday and was handing out some goodies to children and some adults, (that I had purchased). Whilst doing so I "was told off" by a 'friend' and another was sarcastic to me. No one heard but it made me feel silly, plus it was pretty hurtful.Â
I guess I am being over sensitive, but I took it personally as I am just trying to be a honest and kind person, to make amends for my past. I have been asking myself today whether it really is worth trying to be a better person. But hey-ho, tomorrow's another day.
Thanks for asking by the way.
M.

Hi Michaela
That's tough when you are trying to do the right thing. I'm getting the impression you have done the 12 steps maybe in another fellowship. I know it's very hard but we all need to only worry about how we feel and not take others people's thoughts other than what they are, their thoughts and not ours. Easy said than done but you shouldn't feel bad about doing a good thing and stop you doing it.
