just two words to add to your thread, possibly the two most valuable words you will hear today
SELF EXCLUSION.
My advice self exclude, be proud to say I cannot go in there anymore and do my boll##ocks because I made the best choice for me.
It took me 22months total abstinence of recovery and then to gift it all back to addiction in three hours of fobt madness, to gift it to myself
It costs the price of some passport photo's
Regards Duncs.
Hi Mate
Whilst in my early days of recovery I knew what I was doing in regards of leaving doors open. Deep down I knew I wanted to have a last chance. Once I closed the door I progressed. A slip is just that if you can move forward in recovery. Learn from your mistakes and they are all worthwhile.
Take care
Thanks guys for the replies i will get self exclusion forms to stop the temptation.
ye self exclusion the only way , i know now i would go to a casino in my car a few miles away if i had not self excluded[ although online was my main problem ] although this casino you can walk in was where i first started, the start of my downfall so to speak , but i have self excuded from that casino and all others in that company but also the online ones aswell, it just stops you thinking about them because you know you just cant use them , be strong we cant gamble because we cannot stop so theres no point starting thanks simon
