....and it’s taking its toll. Plans have gone to s*** because of the weather, fallen out with my OH, feeling a bit needy, irritable and generally a bit rubbish. So I’ve had a bath, smartened myself up, sorted out issues with partner and gonna go out later. I think being skint is winding me up too, but I know it will be the last pay month I have to live like this as long as I don’t gamble. Saturdays were always the always the main day for gambling so maybe I just need to get used to doing other things. We’re gonna go through my income and expenditure today as well which I think will be a positive thing.

Hope things picked up and you managed to remain gamble free. You don’t need a lot of money to have a good time, just remain gamble free keep doing the meetings and using here and like you say this will be the last month you will need to worry about. When you gambled you gambled to get more money but if had just stopped you will see you had that money already. Remember you could never win because you couldn’t stop.

You don't mention what type of gambling you do, but if it's online and you seriously want to stop/change, register at Gamstop and you will no longer be able to gamble online. It's free to register.

Yea would echo the above comment, get signed up to gamstop and put as many barriers in place to block your ability to gamble .... best thing i ever done as when the urges come it is very hard to act on them ...... from another fellow leeds fan ALAW

The only site I used was Sky bet which I’m excluded from. I’ve got a busy summer lined up I think the big test will be when the football season starts again but I’m going to make lots of plans and just stay busy.
