This message goes out to everyone on Gamcare. The moderators, the advisors, the peer supporters, the admin people, the whole team and of course my fellow community of friends on here. Those I have spoken to and those I haven't.
I will never be able to thank you enough for saving my life and helping me every day to be a better person.
I hope others will join me on here to give their views of Gamcare but I wanted to say a special thanks for the chatrooms. They are amazing and I have made amazing friends within them and received not only advice but it has allowed me to reflect and reach a new way of thinking. Cold Turkey was never going to work for me, so this site has helped me understand myself and move forward one day at a time.
For anyone reading this that hasn't come to a chatroom yet, they are text only. There are no cameras, no judgement, complete anonymity just support and help.
The chatrooms have given me so much personally and I don't think I could have got through the last 136 days without them. I try to get to everyone each day that I can.
