Having spent all day in bed reading the book SA suggested , ( which explains my idiosyncraties to a tee, and the coping strategies I have adopted over the years ) a light bulb moment happened, as I could see I was not as loony as I thought I was lol. Or rather there are about 10% of the population who are just like me .

This relates to my need to escape from the world , the demands , constant noise, the day to day interaction with people .

Anyways walk down the hill, had dinner in a pub , stayed bout an hour ,back in the silence which is on e again soothing me .

Tomorrows forecast is not good again , so another book one feels , .......bliss

I have loved reading your updates this week. As mentioned previously, your holiday sounds amazing to me. I picture a quiet little pub with a log fire and some great food. Amazingly for this time of year, I have still got holidays to take and I'm trying to plan something nice for the family if only for a few days. I am in desperate need of a few days relaxation. Yo,

Today and I can only admit this to my friends , I have laid in bed all yes I mean all day and read half a book , the other half will be my companion tonight .

Did venture out and had a bar snack whilst reading and charging my iPad . Note to self next time you holiday take an extension lead !

Phone call from my family , could I come back tomorrow they've run out of food and the other half has run out of clean shorts . Arrrrrr let my think shall I , not on your nelly . One more day of peace and quiet.

Think they can just bout make it to Forfars which is 2 minutes from my house lol

So on the whole think the holidays done me good , probs will not stay here a third time as the food and the internet have been disappointing

But the silence well that's made it all worth while .

Home Saturday , no doubt tescos 10 mins later . Sunday off, washing washing and more washing me thinks. Then back to work Monday .

But got a short week , then another week off at the end of oct , then 8 days in November. Tend to take my holiday at the end of the year . Which means that I should not get tooooooooo tired or run down in the next few months .

Anyways waffling a bit here , getting back to my book desperate to see whether she lives or dies ........

How I envy you this week. Peaceful and Tranquil. I want it so bad! Anyway, even if the fictional character dies, the reader is definitely living this week and hats off to you my friend. All the pre holiday jitters long gone and actually a bit gutted it's ending. A successful few days for a top top lady!
