That's so tough, not the neck thing but your Dad. I'm lucky to have both parents around so I can't imagine what it's like and im sure you mentioned how much you miss him. I will be saying a prayer for you the night before the anniversary on 31st or this month and sending a lot of love over the ether. I hope that day goes as well as possible. He's looking over you now in recovery and can see the amazing work you are doing to be the best version of Rach each day. 

I'm amazingly chipper considering I have the police interview on Thursday. Might not be saying that Thursday afternoon and might not even be on here but I have to face life on life's terms and know what my addiction did when the fuel to fire it ran out of options. Anyway, don't want to write a downer. 

Today in the South on the English Riviera is an incredible day for March. We aren't even in Spring and the sun is out. It's a comfortable 14 degrees and 18 tomorrow apparently which is barmy.

I hope you neck gets better and you can get a lovely memorial for your Dad.

Congratulations on how well you have done so far, you have achieved a lot. From reading your story you sound like you are ready to quit once and for all.

I hope you keep up the good work and don't worry about gambling urges, they come and go. I find that once a bit of time passes, the bigger worries are some of the other thoughts. You have mentioned some of them: 'what if I kept going, would i have won before quitting?', 'gamban is making my phone slow' etc. The way I see it, these thoughts are just gambling urges by other means (the gambling part of your brain is forming narrative as and trying to negotiate etc). 

Keep it going, you are doing well so far.

Wow 47 days GF !!!! 

I know there are gambling urges but I gamban is really making my phone go slow and it freezes on me ggrrrrrrr (stuart I did reach out but they said there was nothing they could do ) 

Not been on here for a bit,no real reason everytime i think "i must go on and check" i then forget... 

How are you doing stuart? I havent checked anything ?

There is a new version of gamban for Apple devices launched recently

The police have my iPhone so I have a Motorola and the only site it freezes on is Gamcare 

I'm good apart from the obvious and am 124 days GF

I know its gamban causing the "slow" issue because its doing it on both my phones .. 

But its a problem I brought on myself so what can you do lol 

Unfortunately not and i do miss my iPhone so much. It was a company phone so it was taken back by then with my computers, laptops and car. It's a good reminder to tell you the truth and as we all use our phones a lot, it's a constant reminder. 

I don't know what to say other than I guess it's the best of two evils to have it run slow. I will send an email out to Matt Zarb Cousins and ask him for you. 

By the way, aren't you on day 50 Rach ? You didn't mention that huge milestone

I am all for treating oneself no matter how small and I think you deserve to treat yourself to mark this occasion!👍.

Regarding your phone. I am with Stuart - better it going slow than to have access to all those gambling sites, including those “dodgy” overseas sites which lured me back in until I put my final block in place which was Gamban 👌.

Day 81 GF !!!!! 

So... on Tuesday I removed gamban from main phone - not to gamble just because it was killing my phone !!! And im proud to say I still haven't gambled!!

Funny thing is the main phone i wanted to get it off was my work phone ,again same reason as above BUT I cant remove it like I did on my normal phone (which is alot newer) 

I know its a risk removing it but I just couldn't do much on my phone without it freezing or crashing...

Im doing ok thanks..

Im glad I am strong enough atm to still not gamble - in think its because I know if I do i wont stop at £10,£20  and I dont want to go back to where I was .

My bank have this tracking app and I honestly didnt realise the amount I was spending on gambling, it was a real eye opener for me ..
