@dustyfairy25 thanks very much. I’m getting there and repositioning my focus on other things which is good.

@Kaz it isn’t that far ahead of you. Just keep messaging and I’ll try to help as we go through this journey with others.

Day 17

Today was my first day back at work after being off work for a week. Lots to catch up on but was busy busy busy.

Decided today to treat myself to some Krispy Kreme donuts. Boy they are good. Sugar rushed to the max.

I then go home from work and went for a walk finishing the day on 11.8 miles and 22700 steps. No wonder my feet are a little tender.

Walked past all my old betting shops and smiled. Music pumping I carried on and remembered where I was two weeks ago and how I was down the money I had.

Today was a good day 🙂

CJ.

Aww CJ
Sounds a fabulous day! Here's a tip for you.. Download the Krispy Kreme app! They award you lots of freebies.. I had a email saying we miss you haha and a voucher for free any kind.. I'm going soon.

Keep smiling.
Bella xx

@Kaz thanks very much. I feel like I am doing ok. Finally getting there. Today with my pay I managed to clear off my overdraft and carry on with my saving process. Tomorrow it hits £2 per day.

@Christer That some impressive step count you have there. What’s your record in a day? Do you know? I think mind is about 27000. I walked 400 miles that month and boy my feet felt it.

@Lisa92 thank you very much. One day at a time.

@Bella oh yes I’m already on that. Sadly at the uni across the road from work they don’t accept the points card. It still works out ok at £10 for 12. Favourite donut from there?

Day 19

Heaven knows why I decided to go to bed so early this morning. My brain definitely felt it at work today and of course it had to be manic. At least the day went by fast.

No thoughts about gambling today and having any urges to gamble. Admitedly it was pay day so temptation normally kicks in. Not today though.

Last night I decided to take my mind away from reality and become a little creative. Nothing special but at least it’s a start.

Hi CJ, I left a message for you on my page in response to your earlier message. Thanks for all of the support. All is good with me. Just wanted to say well done on achieving day 19. You have a great positive attitude. Glad you got creative too... we all have certain talents and often we don’t use them... and even if there is only a little talent there it can be a great way to express ourselves and relieve stress. It’s all in enjoying what you do. Enjoy the rest of your evening

@Kaz my savings idea is pretty easy. It goes likes this

Day 1 - 10p

Day 2 - 20p

All the way to day 30 which is £3.

From my calculations that’s is £46.50 a month which is £558 over 12 months. When I make it to twelve months (I did write if I) then I’ll treat myself to a trip somewhere or buy my little guy something he really wants.

@Maria definitely agree with you there. Everyone has something they can do, it’s just about finding your niche. I can draw, take photograph and paint so thought I’d try to describe in words in a story to paint a picture. I found it quite therapeutic.

CJ,

Great savings plan CJ. A little goes a long way as they say and it’s a good motivator too.

You sound really creative which is fantastic. You can really use that talent to express yourself.

Talk to you soon and good for you

o*g... Do you share? My favourite Krispy Kreme is caramel inspired or biscotti or lemon meringue. I need to arrange a friend to go for coffee and a donut soon!

As I'm dieting.
What's your favourite?

@Kaz go for it. It was just an adaptation to show me something at the end of my hard work.

@Maria yeah. I’ve written a few stories for children’s picture books but need to get time and motivation to illustrate them. I believe now with Amazon you can publish them yourself which is good. 🙂

@Bella now you are talking. Always share my things. Fave donut would have to be original glazed I am afraid. I think it has just the right amount of sugar on them.

Coffee is awesome. I love my Nespresso machine. I am weird though as I can drink coffee white black hot cold whatever haha. Only way I can’t drink it is if you put a very small amount of milk in the coffee and it goes that dish water colour haha.

Hi CJ, how are you doing today? Wow... that’s a fantastic talent you have... writing stories and illustrating them. You will be able to put your energy into that with a very worthwhile outcome.

Hope you’re having a good Thursday. Take care

@Bella I opted today for some macadamia and white chocolate copies from subway. They are the bomb. Highly recommend.

As for dishwater coffee it can stay away from me 🙂

@Maria yeah I guess so. Pretty good thanks. Having an ok day at work and just ploughing through the projects. How about you?
