having a cr** day today.

will start with yesterday where i managed to get a mobile phone off ******* cheap ( i had to sell mine when i was gambling to cover bills) so i was happy as it also gave me a running tracking device aswell on it so saved myself some money. then today i been getting some aggro from one of my debtors who are doing all they can to try and scare me (texts, e-mails, phone calls threating baliffs) the usual kind of thing. this had made me want to run and not for my marathon training, i do know where the running would lead me so im not about to do that, im tired of running so im gonna sit and read a few diaries, remain calm and get through this cos thats what we do as cg's. im not gonna let a debtor ruin it for me or my family again.

anyway enough ranting

gamble frees the way forward

Good evening Carl

Firstly thank you so much for your really supportive post on my diary...I cannot begin to tell you how welcome it was particularly after my recent mess!

You are doing so well Carl and I love your positivity in beating this battle...easy said than done but try and not let this situation get you down regarding your debts. The mere fact you have stopped gambing will, in time, make everything alright.

It might be a bit of a stressful road to get there with highs and lows but a road worth going down as we both know.

What can I say but thank you once again for the support you have given me and I know many others on here feel the same way.

Keep strong in your battle Carl...you should be proud of where you have got to already!

Take care

Forwards not back

Jewels x

Hey Carl

Thankls for taking the time to leave a supportive message on my diary mate, I really appreciate it especially after my recent slip.

Good on you having a little rant, these diaries are all about recovery warts and all. Those companies can be vile can't they with so much undue stress.

You are right to turn it into a positive though, they wont ruin your life again, you sound really determined so keep going!

Well today is day 77 for me.

Yes you heard right 11 whole weeks gamble free,I have to say I can only take part of the credit for reaching this part of the journey the rest goes to all my wonderful friends here on the diaries.

To any newbies the best bit of advice I can give is to keep the diaries close by.

Anyway tonight is a night off from training so may raise a glass of beer and salute you all to celebrate.

And yes shiny it is me even without the italics, trying to use phone instead of pc.

Take care
