Just your typical gambling story. Relapse after relapse. I’m only 19 years old but I want to stop before I dig myself into a very deep hole. I keep going back to the fobt and online tables. I’ve blocked all my accounts but still want some sort of protection which I feel I may have to buy.
I’ve not gotten myself into any debt but annoyed at myself for not saving the money that I’ve gambled. Frustrates me just thinking about it. My friends gamble too, but I’m not just going to leave my friends. At the end of the day, I make my own decisions.
I’ve got a holiday in two weeks which I’ve almost payed out for so most of my pay cheque in two weeks will be going towards that. I want this diary to keep track of not gambling and also to keep track of saving my hard earned money. Payday is on about two weeks time and will probably be a difficult time for me, but we’ll talk about it I get there.
Day 1 starts tomorrow. Thank you everyone.
Day 1 - I think people call this a ‘gambling hangover’. Thinking about previous loses, giving myself a headache. But I’m determined not to give it. Hate myself for not starting this earlier, but I’m a few months time I’ll be glad I started this today.

Day 2 - Organised what to do with my money when I get paid next week so that put it to good use. Will have money for holiday sorted, all bills sorted then will keep the rest for savings. Sky bet account come off cool down but I’ve put the cool down back on.
Day 3 - Always get too far ahead of myself trying to plans out the days, weeks, months ahead. I shouldn’t do this to myself as it becomes too much for me. But I am looking forward to the next few weeks as I’ve got a lot coming up. Here’s to day 3 gamble free.
Day 7 - today marks 1 week, payday on Friday, very much looking forward to putting money into savings. Bring on the second week
