I'm with Brownie. Only just back after a long run of (mostly) not gambling and stumbled across your diary.
With the best will in the world I think you keep the diary to lie to not just us, but yourself.
C'mon toad, you will feel so much better when the "pull" has gone...which it will the moment you self exclude. It's a bit embarrassing going through it all but swallow your pride, you'll leave the place with your head held higher than most.

Willpower has gone today. Heading to the turfs with £45. I know's it's wrong but i am caving in again.
So no lies i'm telling the diary how it is. You can all sit back and laugh at Toads expense now. Brownie can stick his tongue out as i swim in the fish bowl.
I can take the criticism. I know one thing. I'm looking forward to a bet today and that's me being brutally honest. Maybe I haven't hit rock bottom yet. Let's face it. The majority of people are on here as they did their money in. The people that have won loads are away enjoying the spoils of wealth. So the same people moaning on here were not moaning when they were winning!!! I am debt free so maybe I shouldn't have come on here. People might think i'm being disrespectfull to people who are in financial ruin. But I have taken plenty of abuse on here.
Having said this I don't wish anyone in here a bad day gambling. Don't make the mistakes I have made and are making.

Toad , I said I wouldn't post on your diary again but I just wanted to say that nobody's laughing mate despite what you may think !
Your'e a Compulsive gambler, just like us all and theres no difference between us except that I don't think your ready to give up yet ?.
I hate to see you coming on here and if I'm brutally honest hiding behind your smile , youre putting yourself through so much pain and turmoil day in day out by posting on your diary .
Why not have a break from it , at least until your ready to fully commit to your recovery , maybe give yourself some time to re-evaluate where you want to go with this and when ready then begin your journey again ?
Please don't take any of this as offensive or as an attack on you , it isn't meant to be that way at all , I am concerned that your putting to much pressure on yourself and I would have no right to be posting openly on here if I couldn't give my whole hearted support !.

Who is the Will Power you keep talking about. Maybe your on the threshold in realising he's quite a lying f***k after all and that he's only one of many friends you need if you want to stop gambling.
Your last post is maybe the most honest in your diary, so good on you and i'm sure no one feel the need to stick there tongue out. You can find a rock bottom if you look but without the bump.....

To be fair I am trying to joke a bit but deep down I know gambling has caused me alot of pain.
I will take Alans advice and take some time out. I don't want to hinder other peoples progress because I do understand the hell some people are going through.
