Sam deMello who is the founder of Evive in the States has launched a new UK version of the Modern Meeting which I go to at 1am each Tuesday morning. He is hosting himself and I know it's going to be a great space to chat. Cameras don't need to be on if anyone doesn't want to.
The meeting will be weekly on Thursdays at 6pm our time and last for an hour. They will be topic based and Sam will be hosting.Â
If anyone would like to come to the meetings, just down load the evive app in your phone store by searching for get evive and its the gambling support one. Download that which is free of charge and join which of course is free. Then under the community section scroll down to see the post. It will appear in the events section of the app shortly and starts on Thursday 23rd April
Why on earth would anyone want to go to a zoom meeting based in the usa when you can talk safely and anonymously in an online chat room through gamcare several times a day
@g3y6a5jbds Different things work for different people. Some prefer the GamCare chats, others find meetings like this helpful too. It’s just another option for anyone who feels it might benefit them, and I don't think there is any harm in that. It's well meaning for anyone that is interested.

For me meetings are everything and addiction does not have borders. I apologise if it's offended you at all, it was a general post to show an option to attend the meeting. I didn't tell anyone they had to go.
But I've obviously offended you hence you have posted, for which I apologise.Â

It will be a safe place and very informative/supportive. The other ones I've been to at silly o'clock in the morning have been amazing and a real sense of community. All you have to do is type.in get Evive to download the app from your store and then each one will be posted on the community and in the events schedule.
