Not really sure what to say here. Just that I had been GF for little over a year. Thought I’d have a little play on the stock market. Took the family out for dinner, bought my daughter some stuff without a worry of money.Â
Today, I’ve lost that all and obviously the money I spent over the weekend.Â
Hating the feeling again, frustration, guilt, disappointment, worry about money again, etc etc….
what a shame I had to ruin it by jumping back in today, when I always said I’d give my self a break for a week if I ever made money again. Because of bad habits
Back to 0 gambling again, Â
Hi there.
First of all, congratulations on being g.f for over a year 👏👏👏. Sorry however, to read that you have lapsed.
If you are really determined to give up for a long term/for good, I believe the only thing us people have to do on here is to put every block there is available in place.
Did you have any blocks in place?
I agree. That feeling of losing all your money on gambling is the worst. It makes us feel sick to the stomach, causes sleepless nights and causes immense anxiety 😔. Not to mention, losing even more of our hard earned money and more often than not, going into even further debt 👎.
I hope you have the strength to take that next step and put those vital blocks in place. If you do, your days will most definitely get better in every way.
Wishing you strength and determination going forward.
Pink Lady 🩷🍎.
Hi Lost Soul
If we were driving down the road, saw a pot hole and thought it's only shallow I will go over it but then punctured your tyre. The way I look at it, is that I would change the tyre, drive on and learn by that mistake. I wouldn't drive back down the road to the start as I already know that bit. Just me
I just wondered something. For me, and just me, I can never have a bet again in my life as I know where it will lead. Where do you sit with that thought process lost soul ? No judgement at all in that question, just intriguedÂ
Affected by gambling?
