Recovery takes time and patience something unfortunstely i havent got to grips with yet.

Gambling has taken over my life for 25 years its not going to be all sunshine and roses straight away when i stop.I know this and know recovery needs to be worked at  but i get impatient I want instant results i want to feel good all the time i dont want to feel bored or lonely or guilty or full of shame all the things that send me straight back to my comfort of gambling. This crazy way of thinking that gambling that gambling brings me comfort when all it really brings is heartache and misery.

So im going to put in the effort and take the one day at a time and find my new comfort zone.

I dont want gambling to have anymore of me.

Ive tried so many times but there is always hope

Tske care on everyond on your journeys

You can give up if you want to,gamcare as lots of support for you they even arrange therapy if you want it. The Golden question is do you want it enough. It won't work if you don't want to give that power over to gamcare blocks self exclusion. I like you sought comfort escapism from gambling. It never brings comfort but it does bring you stress and pain the choice is yours
