Day 618.
Had some devastating news yesterday that my best friend who I have know since nursery for 40 years has cancer. He had a mole removed about 3 weeks ago and the body scan has shown 3 masses in the lymph and adrenaline gland and also the lung! If there is anyone on here who can give me a glimmer of hope I would appreciate it.
To say I am devastated is an understatement.
So tonight I am going to get wasted on my works do!

All I can say is there is always hope, medicine and surgery has improved considerably in the last 10 years.

Keep strong my friend, for your friend and for you.

Sorry to hear that Steve, devastating & I have nothing other than a fly by of support! You have to stay strong & look after you & if you can, be there for your friend as you always have been!
