Time. It takes time. These first few days and weeks are s**t 🙁

Are you feeling better dwelling on it? Are you feeling happier thinking about something that you can't control?

Concentrate on the things you can control and that make you and those around you happier.  There will be time to take a look back and reflect, but it may be healthier not to do that at the moment.  Give yourselves (yes, I'm including you 88anon my friend) some breathing space for now. Get better and start being proud of yourself again before taking that look.

As always, I'll confess to only being here cos I'm in the same boat and far from an expert, but it's currently working for me and I hope it can for you, but you need to be patient.

It's never too late to start living your life properly.

It's so easy to look back with regrets and resentment but when you do try and eradicate those thoughts with what could have happened if you hadn't woken up now and put an end to this. You could have carried on throwing your life away for the rest of it.

So basically what I'm saying is be proud of yourself. Youve made the bravest decision ever and can turn this around again and get things on an even keel.

You have reached deep within you and found some serious bravery, sincerity and power. You overcame the gambling mentality to continue with the blags and the ducking and diving. Be proud. For now it's the only thing you have but it can be your springboard for so much more over time. It will take time but you can pull this back if you make the right moves.

Best of luck
