Triangle's recovery: What's recovery got to do with stopping gambling???

day 6 today

thanks no crisis yes got through yesterday

temptation and desire is still there

my gambling history is a well of returning over and over again in spite of knowing it won't help me i still keep going back

frustrating as anything but its day 6 today

its been a good gamble free day up to now and plan to keep it that way

not easy still get thoughts but im trying hard

I think we all get complacent on this rocky road. I previously got to over a year and then it all went horribly wrong. Seven years later and I am back here. The rest is history....

I think the one thing that I learnt was just take one day at a time and only deal with that day.

Triangle you've beat gambling for 8 days and with a positive mindset and by finding the things that work for you then you can continue to beat it. There never comes a point any of us can say we beat gambling as we are all one day away from a bet. BUT day by day we can beat gambling and as the days mount our lives will get better. Stay positive and keep using this site as its a good place to be.
