Hello tommyb,

We've moved this thread to the 'Recovery diaries' section now, you can continue to update here.

You can always find your threads by going to your profile page and clicking on 'My threads', and you can click on 'Will she understand and forgive' to go to this thread.

If you like, you can change the title of your thread by clicking 'Edit' on your first post in the thread, if you ever want to change the heading of your diary, as some of our forum members do that, while others prefer to keep the title of their thread the same.

If you need forum admin help at any point, you can email us at forumadmin@gamcare.org.uk

Take care,

Forum admin.

I'm actually doing OK bluescreen. I have had a few days where I really want to go and bet but I come on here and read my post and don't listen to the wee voice telling me to do a bet. I am 23 days gf.... I am attending a councillor and I have given my girlfriend full control of my finances and I'm just a far happier person... My moods are better and I can actually get a proper night sleep every night now instead of laying awake with WORRY. I never ever want to be in that dark place again and that's why I'm going to do this right. I'm so lucky to have my girlfriend by my side and I owe her so much. I could not have done this without her support.

ONWARDS AND UPWARDS.

54 days gambling free.... I can't believe how much I have changed as a person since I stopped gambling. Like I was reading over my 1st posts I put on here and today I am a different person. I never want to feel like that again.

60 days gambling free today and my relationship is stronger than it ever was. I wish I would have came clear ages ago and maybe I would not be in as much debt as I am.
