I've got friends that are addicted to gambling who have a very similar attitude. Even I thought a bit like this, basically I was able to have the upper hand on pub fruit machines and made quite decent money on them. The problem was, other forms of gambling such as online and bookies. I always said to myself i'm just getting greedy and if I only played the pub fruit machines when they were worth playing, I'd make good money. For the most part that was actually true, but unfortunately the addiction rages on inside, there's so much temptation everywhere and it's all so dangerous with the way games are programmed now. It's just the addicts nature to gamble isn't it, so every month i'd find myself sat around waiting for the next payday so I could convince myself once again I could go out and make money, but this time I'd only play the fruits, no bookies and no online. 30+ consecutive months this happened, and still I just couldn't change my thought process!
I think the point at which you see sense is different in different people. Some people need to lose literally everything before they realise that they have a serious problem with gambling. You're young like me mate, you've got a lot of life ahead of you to turn it around. Although I don't agree with everything you say pal, I can actually see you're clearly a driven person who wants to make other people happy. I just don't want you to be chasing this massive "bail out" win all your life and for it to never come. You should put that drive and passion into something else. I know you'll make the right choice one day, as I said for different people it takes different things before they realise they need to make a change.

I really do believe money will make me happy and I don't think life is worth all that much period wether we have money or not our lives are miniscule and whoever we are we will be forgotten in about 100 years unless you go down in history, even then I'm sure humanity will perish and your life will of meant nothing.
I'm fine with tough love I'm not sensitive just don't feel some people are being very helpful.
