StepChange are used by many people to help manage debt.

GamCare offer free counselling, a helpline, chatroom, netline as well as the forum which is an excellent place to read how others deal with their addiction.

I'd recommend giving the GamCare helpline a call to discuss your situation if you're unsure what to do next.

Iam new today and I just want to say hello as I have a problem with online gambling. I feel so low and have a lot of debt. I haven't told any of my family or friends as I think I can deal with it but I can't.

It's difficult to do it alone. You will be well supported here. You might find it more useful to start your own thread. If you click on 'new members intro forum', scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see a blue 'new topic' rectangle on the left; click on the rectangle and you can start your own thread. This might be more useful to get support, tell your story, track your progress, ask any questions - you can use your thread however you like (within GamCare's rules and etiquette policy).

I try to discreetly highlight the importance of ocean conservation on the side.

Plenty of information and help here. You are never more than a click, post or call away from help.

The chatroom is open 7pm-8pm and 9pm-10pm tonight.
