Hi all

My name is Gaz and I thought if join this to try and get some help with my problem.

I used to bet regular in casinos and bookies sometimes winning sometimes losing.

5 days after my wedding I gambled over £500 of the money we was given as presents.

My wife found out about this and it destroyed her. I quit gambling at this point and even my 20 a day smoking habit to help us through.

I still put on football coupons spending £2-£5 a week and had no problem with this.

Last January I discovered mobile casinos paying deposits from my mobile bill. I raked up a bill of over £1k. I done this again a few months later.

In October 2013 I stole my wife's credit card and put £100 in roulette machine and lost. This again nearly lost me my marriage.

In November/December I ran up another phone bill of £700 which my wife discovered last week. It was horrible seeing her so distraught and I hate seeing her like this.I received a free bonus and won £800 from a mobile site. I told her and she broke down into tears that I had gambled again.

I need to stop gambling completely and I'm hoping coming onto this site and talking to others can help me with my problem. I don't enjoy it and the thought of losing my wife is unthinkable.

Gaz

Thanks for the reply H L

I have listened to your advice and because I need an internet phone for work she has put a content control on so I can't access any 18+ sites which will work wonders so Thankyou. I have also suggested she controls all finances and dishes out my money as and when I need it.

I will look into the self exclusions not quiet sure how these work. I don't use pc only phone so blockers aren't needed but the content control on phone and on my home wifi should work so again Thankyou.

Leaving my bank card with her and carrying minimum cash will help that will keep me away from cashpoints so can't go crazy on fobts.
