Hi to all,
I'm on here now for a few days and in a positive way addicted to it.
Unfortunately I have to excess the site most of the times over my iPhone what makes it a bit difficult.
And so it is that I do apologize but so far I'm just concentrate on the newer posts.
But I will have a look into the older posts as soon as I'm home and can acces the site over the PC again.
So far I read so many stories in wich I've seen myself and I'm happy to be here together with you all and can share my good as well as my bad feelings with you it really helps me on my way.

It helped me eight years ago when I joined this site and I have been over five years gamble-free - it was a turning point for me, and I hope it is for you my friend.
A lot of great advice has been given to you already; at 50, you are still young enough to put this behind you and create a whole new life for yourself.
Well done again for joining and posting - hopefully, this is the start of a different path in life for you.

I'm pretty sure that I will get it all sorted and turn my life back into the sun 😉 I'm a gambler, but also I'm a fighter I've just lost the focus for a moment and I'm sure this site and you all will help me to stay focused and make me aware that it's always there but it can't get me when I talk about it.

This forum seems to be working for me too, tried GA and it wasn't for me unfortunately. Wasted my life on gambling, 47 now and just hoping time hasn't passed me by and its not too late to change tings around once and for all. Its going to be tough this weekend so lets keep strong and beat the demons.

First of all my friend thank you for your post and I'm happy to read that the forum is working for you to.
It is never to late for the right thing to do in life.
I used to describe my life as a roller coaster and actually it still is and it probably always will be, with or without gambling but this is ok. But a roller coaster with gambling is just just going downhill and has no ups, therefor this ride is canceled on my fare ground 😉
Even the time when I visited GA's is a long time ago and to be honest it didn't worked for me neither at the time, I do miss it because as greatful as I am for this forum, I still prefere the physical meetings and I think I was just not ready for it in the past.
You stay strong mate and we surely will beat the demons 😉
