FUFC321, don't beat yourself up about it, what's done is done. But this is the time to be changing things. You say you have to do more to put blocks in place - why not do that now? Literally, as in this second. K9 software on your phone, your wages paid somewhere else, I bank with Lloyds and have recently agreed to only allow payments to be made with chip and pin, restricting any online payments. If you don't arrange these things now, I'm not sure when you will - you certainly won't during the time between being paid and losing it all again. You work hard for that money, the bookies don't - so ask yourself who deserves it!

Good luck mate.

Hi Fufc,

You're not a good place, but don't let it get on top of you, be STRONG. Below is what I wrote for you first thing this morning on your other page..............You are chasing losses my friend, you need to speak with someone close, I say your partner but it's up to you.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Fufc,

I originally planned to tell my wife in January, part of my New Years Resolution not to bet again. I kept putting it off as I thought the time wasn't right. BAD EXPENSIVE MISTAKE! Cost me about £2K.

Now she knows everything 100% the only way my recovery could work. I could have easily hidden a credit card back from her but that would have been an open door to gamble again. I can honestly say having the debt from gambling caused me to gamble because I thought I could win it back. That's why I'm a CG. You"re in the same boat my friend, please take note and consider the kind words on this page.

Telling my wife and all the heartbreak and tears that come with it was definitely worth it. Add this forum and my GA meetings, I'm know I can beat this addiction.

Wishing you all the best.

Fufc

Please ring gamcare and keep ringing them. Please book an appointment at the doctors

We have given you good advice but you are at a deadly stage of being ready to talk more but not willing/able to act on the blocks

Gambling is a deadly illness of the mind. You are just beginning to realise that its destroying you but your mind and body overrules this because it still craves the gambling.

You need to start the learning process of whats actually going on. Its just like a drug addiction as your mind craves the highs and your mind tells you next time.... next time is the biggy. Your body craves these chemical feelings and its conned you into thinking that its a possible income.

Only it isnt because you are an addict and you are ignoring reality.

The reality is that your girlfriend will leave you if you carry on and you will end up bankrupt.

We are not advising you as some sort of joke. This is deadly serious and we do care what happens to you

Please make those calls.

You need to be ready to start gain and reach out and tell people close as we have advised you, Start again... learn... accept...and become a new person

Best wishes
