so the same story as the past 8 years got payed today and blew the whole lot on roulette, now i have a whole month to go with no money again, cant keep doin this, got no gamblin annonamous meeting local and dont drive so cant get to any, went doctors last month and they gave me a perscription for some depression tablets but as i had no money left i couldnt claim them, i work full time just finding everything difficult to deal with everythin, family cant take much more of what am doin

Please ring gamcare as many times as you like because you need to start talking it through with a one to one voice.
You know you cant go on like this. It will stop when you are ready to make the decision to take on the fight and beat the addiction.
It can be done and its like a lightbulb going on or born again moment that you are not going to take it anymore.
Then with counselling and advice you will understand the addiction and realise how powerful it is. It didnt make you a bad person...it just took over like it did with us.

You do sound like you are in a very bad place, you are just like the rest of us that have being in this place at some point in our lives ! I would echo what joydivider has said and give the gamcare helpline a ring as it's very helpful and also keep coming on here and reading other people's story's. I have no GA meeting local to me but fortunately I drive and have to drive a round trip of about 170 miles to attend my meeting but I find it very helpful ! You have to WANT to kick this addiction and yes your family will be very angry with you but they can also help you if you WANT to stop gambling ? Hope you can get sorted and I will look out for future posts.
