Hi this is my first time opening up about my problem have read alot of forums on this and thought I need some help.

Im 29 and have been gambling since i was 18 all started with roulette machines one big win then all down hill since. After a few years of chasing my my loses i got help from family members who helped pay of credit cards payday loans ect tht i had took to keep playing. I have not touched they machines in at least 6 years! My problem now is online sports betting.

I have a girlfrend and a 4 year old girl and have a good job wich pays good but because of my addiction i have always had to lie to her. We dont have the best of things and some weeks are hard having to lie were my money is or what iv had to pay tht week! I cant do it anymore it breaks my heart to think were we could be if i had given up gambling when my daughter was born.

I can go a month or 2 gamble free but always end up back opening up a new betting app. Like yesterday at work a friend had a tip for a dog running so i went and opend an account with a bookmaker and before i knew it i had lost 400 pound betting on inplay football! I cant go on anymore its ripping me appart it has to stop now

Hi mmc call gamcare for advice and maybe counselling. Bailouts from family just let you play for longer. It's your debt. Hand over finances and cards if you really want to stop. Download blocking software. You have to want to stop. Stop making excuses and stop opening more apps. Tell someone, get help. You will continue to lose because you can't stop. Good luck!
