Need to start taking responsibility

Hi both

I've since found out that they do something similar in rehab centres but I wrote a topic called Dear Bookmakers. It was a letter in my mind of saying goodbye to them, once and for all and to my addiction which I wouldn't take over again. Felt so good to write it out and post It on here

 just checking in with an update so I can remind myself to keep on keeping on when I need to!

 I haven’t gambled in 41 days.

And this week has been a real test as my husband has been away with work and usually that would be an absolute trigger for me to start gambling and I’m so pleased to be able to say I haven’t gone near any online casinos. To be fair I can’t gamble any way because of bank blocks and self exclusion, which I am finding helps because I know I can’t , it’s almost a relief knowing that I can’t even I wanted to. 

Still trying not to dwell on the debt, just looking at it like a bill that needs to be paid . Have made 2 monthly payments so far so thats £830 down . 

Am feeling in a really good place at the moment. Hope everyone here is doing well.

Well done Catlady. Have you got Gamban on everything as well ? How long did you manage last year ?
