Hi there.

I would suggest if you want to quit gambling for once and for all then sign up to Gamstop and Gamban. The Gamcare team on here can help with these. I would also put gambling blocks on any debit cadres you have.

Also, read as many diaries on here as you can and remember, you are not alone.

Wishing you the very best of luck.

Hi,

Take one day at a time, be kind to yourself triple lock the doors (blocks in place) speak to someone to open up, come on here to be with people in the same situation as you.
My only advice which has got me to 2.5 years gamble free.

Take care,

Claire x

Good luck in your journey and you are not alone! I am also in need of help!

This is day 4 gamble free for me but the urges are still so strong.

I have been betting on football for 12 years and it has taken over my life! I am in a fortunate position where I am comfortable financially however I have still lost thousands over recent years.

I only ever bet on football but I need to stop! I am worried about looking back in years to come knowing that I wasted all these years up and down with mood swings due to gambling. I find myself gambling on my phone when I should be spending time with my family.

Anyway, this is me and I hope I can find help and maybe help others who are in the same position.
