Balvos tip to call stepchange is spot on. ..sadley they hear stories like ours all the time...posative step in selling car. ..and like you said ...exercise is great for motivation....tell mum there's a section here for family...if she's wants any advice. .knuckle down and kick your addiction into the gutter 🙂

Everything you have said to me even if its the odds paragraph has been fantastic for me and thank you. I promise and vow I will kick this addiction. I have a heart of gold too nice at times my mum says.

But I am going to be a right B*****D to this illness and I promise to everyone and myself this illness will be gone and I will come out a stronger more lovable healthy person.

Once again thank you to all people who have gave me great words of advice I look forward to taking this debts on and getting them clear as a challenge I dont see them as a negative I seen them as challenge to overcome and I WILL!!!! do this

I'm sure you do have a heart of gold....it was addiction stealing the nice bits of it from you....
Now....take each day as it comes...I try to do or say something nice to somebody each day...and in the early days i also tried to sort a problem...usually an outstanding debt out each day....be kind to yourself...and your family...they'll help you so much...mother's day doesn't have to be about flash gifts...a simple cup of coffee and a chat..or whatever..let those gamble free days mount up...hold tight. ...it's a great journey to your new life....x

Hey buddy I read ur forum entry this morning & caught my attention.

I can relate in some ways to your story, I caused many a heartache for my poor mother including us being at loggerheads & throwing me out etc. Read my entry for that.

Are u ringing gamcare to arrange the counselling, if so it could help I had it.

Now I'm close to 3 months of no gambling & im seeing my life improve all the time. Always being vigilant though coz there's more to it than not gambling. Personal changes u have to make associated with the issue are 50% of your problem too.

Thanks for reading over my post. things are looking more postive moving forward gamble free for 9 days now mindset is feeling good at the moment walking to work as I gave up my car dont need to finicial burden of that also I could do with the excersie.

I spoke to GamCare on Friday who referred me to couselling they called me of Saturday and I missed the call and they asked me to call back Monday. attempted to call them yesterday with no answer left a voicemail but still not heard anything with give them another call today

But things are looking more postive Rob I have spoken to Stepforchange regarding my finicial problem I am in who are willing to help me which is great and a massive burden off my mind.
