Hi I'm ross I'm 22 and a compulsive gambler, I've tried meeting and counselling and excluded but I always find ways to gamble it's the roulette that is my down fall I can't control my urges I need serious help I'm a young boy with a good job but always tapping money from my parents who I have worried sick!! Lost a girlfriend due to gambling and bank rupt at my age which I'm embarrassed about joined here to speak to people who understand how I feel.

Some who find it incredibly easy to stop, some who have to put a bit of work in and the few who struggle on a daily basis with gambling
My point is counselling and meetings didn't work for me initially. I needed to be ready to put in 100% and keep putting that in all the time.
Gamcare offer counselling on here as well as meetings and there's places like GA as well that can help

Ye that's the same as me it didn't work but I'm ready to give it 100% am sick of making my parents worry and sick of having no money at all, I want to better myself and have a good life, I think I'll look into the counselling on here that's another good option thanks
Today's been hard I gambled, spent 10 but I still gambled tomorrow's a new day a new adventure I can do this I know I have the will power to get back on my feet and better myself as a person!!

you remind me of a younger me this is my 2nd time here a bit older and lot wiser.
on Roulette i have lot silly amounts of money i even used £800 for my first son's push chair and blew it all and that was 3 years ago. i earned money and just blew it.
Getting away from it you will be in for a good fight but belive me it is worth it. a just quick warning if you think you can go in and place footy bets (like i did) and walk away you are wrong.
i am no expert just lived the life.
