Am totally made up with your revovery, I have read every word you have written. Am not ashamed to say that my glasses have steamed up several times Joes poem, your new job, Sarah and your obvious love for each other.

Be Proud, be very proud!

You are amazing and I am so grateful for your support as I'm sure is everyone else.

hi Duncs

just to say that i am sure you will be relieved to see what the docs says as it must be frustrating having all these tests and still waiting on results..

Hoping Hovis likes his new Pal and your expanding family is going from strength to strength.

Morning diary.

Woke up at 4am this morning with a stinking cold, caught I feel through cycling in monsoon season in shorts lol!!

So I got up made myself a bowl of bolognaise with linguine and a mountain of cheese, ate it could not taste a thing and went back to bed to sulk!! Today I am off work and will consume my own bodyweight in food!! I think that is what you are supposed to do feed a cold!!LOL

Our new addition is being delivered after 5pm tonight!! so my couch dwelling nights are over lol.

Today I thought about friends, and the lack of old ones I have, the dedication to gambling cost me so much time that I rarely forged friendships,I became a somewhat recluse, wrapped up in my own warped world,if I associated with folk it was normally to suit my end.

Today I have a few good friends and am forging some good buisiness colleuges, why because I am interested in all walks of life, not just one that is measured by the price or odds on offer.

Gamcare has taught me not to judge, something I used to do by glancing at the cover,to I crave the story, warts and all,to what end?? to simply better myself as a person and those around me.

Through the 10 month barrier now,ten whole months of living, living a dream I with honesty was only available to those who won!!

Well Gamcare Today I choose to WIN again by abstaining from the thing that threatened to destruct my being,Gambling.

Just for today I choose to better my tomorrow.

Duncs compulsive gambler NO BET Today.

Stepping forward never back.

Hi Duncs,

Double month figures how amazing is that, Ive said it before and I will repeat myself You my friend are a shining example of what recovery offers to those who choose to grab it with both hands for all its worth.

There is always something I pinch from your diary and add it to my armour to use in my recovery to make me stronger, for that my friend I thank you.

Hope the floor isnt to uncomfortable once Blue arrives im sure he will be spoilt rotten.

Hope that feeding your cold is working and your feeling 100% again real soon.

Take care

Blondie

Hi Duncs,

Loved your comments on my diary........Always give me a smile....and hope!

I really know what you mean about not getting into friendships when gambling, I personally would of been happy as a recluse whilst in a gambling frenzy. And like you I guess deep down we are quite sociable people and thrive with company!

Anyway hope blue and hovis get to become best buds and hovis doesnt get jealous!

Hope the man flu improves!!!!!

Hiya Duncan,

A week away and it's like I have to read Catch22 again in your diary! lol

The flu, is just an excuse for our loved ones to cater for us for that short amount of time... Enjoy it (lol)...

Gambling really sucks eggs. That's where it belongs, in the sewer my man. We are a few good men living reality once more. Without this demon it is good, step back into it's shoes and there becomes a wrath of dark light. It's what we choose, and for one, I choose not to gamble. As you do Sir.

Pete.
