Having a pretty good week have a bit of clarity in my thinking and feel a bit rejuvenated.

Had a great GA meeting on Tuesday i chaired which I always enjoy and pushed the boundaries by going international. Well all the way to Benidorm lol. One of the regular group members joined us on Skype from his villa, spoke to us the week before about being worried about missing 3 weeks while away, commitment for a guy who is 8 years gamble free, shows how serous we must take this. We're going to ask if his wife can do s therapy as she set up a gamanon meeting others have heard before and say how powerful it is, really looking forward to it, I'm sure it will be hard to listen to but I feel will be hugely beneficial.

I said by to me son last night for a week, he's off on his hols with the ex and her family. His first holiday without me, I got a little upset last night which set him off. Bloody hell in at it agony on the bus holding back the tears. I snapped myself out of it quick took my mind of it and thought he will have a great time, yes things might be different he won't be sneaking off with me for a few pints in the afternoon to get out of the heat, obviously he was on a Fanta Lemon. I'm going to enjoy it I have the old house to myself. It will be nice to have some space to myself, looking forward to just the simple things like going food shopping and cooking and being able to chill even walk around b**t naked if I want.

Should be a good weekend took a few days off to make the most of it might nip for a pint tonight like a Friday tea time pint sets the weekend up in going to have lots of fun this weekend.

Were off first thing on Monday morning , so I'm not looking forward to going half way around the M25 to get to the airport but it'll be worth it .

I promise not too many jokes in there but after were having the" Hag " do on Monday I feel they'll be need of the classic " I now know why Italy's shaped like a boot ? , coz if it were shaped like a trainer you couldn't pour enough booze in it for you lot " , still thinking of a way to get an imitation gun into the Father of the grooms hand luggage , cavity searches are always " Comedy gold .

I've not had a bet today or since my last post.

Well I have my old house to myself the last few days. I've sort of enjoyed it, I've enjoyed the simple things like having to do the food shop, cooking a few nice meals for myself, can't seen to get the potions right for one lol.

Heard of my son a couple of times which has helped but I am missing him. Even though I don't live with him I see him daily if even only for 10 mins. Feel a little lost without him it comes in waves 90% of the time I'm feeling really good and happy. It passes quickly and after all it's only a week, get a grip Martin.

Ive not had a bet today or since my last post.

Well it's time to pack my bags leave my old house again. This time no black bags and I'm happy to be leaving. Don't get my wrong I've enjoyed my week of freedom but the house is not my home anymore especially without my son in it. Missed him immensely and can't wait to see him later when he gets back. Not sure what time they will be back just had a text to say her brother is dropping her of later, that's code to make sure I'm not here, after all I do value my pretty face. The text finished of with a ps can I have my son on Monday and Tuesday as she is out with "friends". Means I get more time with my son which is a massive bonus but it's time to have the conversation I have been putting off.

Had a good week overall went out for a few beers last Friday might of had one two many and got a bit carried away but I enjoyed myself. A nice afternoon at the cricket on Saturday the local team lost again it's been a terrible season.

Had Monday off went for a walk in the hills and sat on a old bench where I had run off to many times in the past to contemplate what a k**b I had been and how I was going to get myself out of the mess I was in, different thoughts this time thinking about how proud I was and where my future lies and it's certainly not in the old house. I did spend half hour thinking why the hell did I walk this far I've only got to walk back lol.

Tuesday I baked a cake for my mate oddat, someone I have taken so much knowledge and inspiration from and will continue to do so and pass that on to others, honoured to get a mention and finished in a champions league place ;-).

Sorry for the late response Tri went to GA Tuesday night thought it would be quiet, I got about 6 apologies they all text me as they know I will be there, might shock them one day and not turn up, but it was really busy about 20 there a good meeting we went international again!!! one new guy was a bit frustrating said very little in his introduction then could not stop interrupting everyone offering advice, had an answer for everything, I try not to judge but if he doesn't change his thinking he will struggle.

Went to pool again on Wednesday a chance to raise a glass to my mate Alan on his daughters big day, I knew you would get there bud. I've started playing for a team again team lost and I lost messed up on the black but I'm getting back into it. Didn't stay late wanted to get back home and relax the last couple of days just spent time relaxing and enjoying the finer things in life spent some time chatting with a friend, did some cooking and just generally relaxing and not worrying about things

Back to today I'm all packed the house is clean just need to eat all the good stuff left in the cupboard and fridge can't be leaving any treats, I'm not that evil been out and got a few bits in for there return, lad is crying out for some proper bacon and sausages as he put it

As for the GA stuff, you're keeping an open mind and doing your best to explain how GA works. Its hard enough for me to keep up with GA but lets hope the new talent keeps attending

I suspect you may be contemplating whether to remain here after last nights incident. Just try not to sweat the small stuff or give people the reaction they played you for. Its hard not to react I know, especially to someone as moronic as that. But it ended up you getting hurt & him getting what he wanted. Sometimes its more important to do the right thing than to prove youre right.

Just seen the happenings of last night . Just not worth the bother old friend , I was told of by admin last week for saying the blokes an @r*e Martin , so I'm just reaffirming that for you :)) .
