A9 haha. I suppose it’s better than us gambling eh? 🙂

Plus they are getting exercise which can’t be bad.

A9 is used to play mixed netball which was killer. I found though I get more out of walking.

Yeah I’m doing ok. Today was a great day and that’s all that matters.

Likewise so long as people are recovering and trying then that’s all that matters.

Take it easy

CJ.

Day 6 starts. Went to bed at 8pm last night. Left a bit tired and just wanted some rest after the kids were in bed.

Ahh right I am aware of that Pokemon thing... I didn’t realise it still was going on; I remember it in the press some time ago.

Day 6 evening. Caught myself thinking of the losses before. Need to shut them in a box as it’s a bad trigger for me.

Don't look on it as money wasted but Maybe look on it as paying for a cure for your illness ?, now your in remission you don't need to spend a penny on it anymore . Happy day's :)) .

Nearly at your week buddy :))

Through the first week now. Feel like I’ve made progress but still lots more to do.

Day 8 into recovery. Start of the second week. First time I’ve had that little monster on my shoulder chatting about bets and accumulators. Weekends always bad as there is sport on tv and being talked about. It’s also my typical weekend habit to look at the sports and make my picks. Few more weekends and I’ll hopefully break that habit.

Day 9. Slept terrible. Dunno why. Son woke me up mega early so I’m half-man half-zombie today. Off to church this morning for the first time in a while. I probably go to church every other month with my son. Need to discuss getting baby christened. I’m not really a religious person but I’m fairly open minded and sometimes it gives me comfort to think there could be a higher power. I prayed when my sons were born so prematurely. Probably a bit too much info for a recovery forum!
