Day 32 - Just woke up from a big bender so I feel like absolute doggy doo doo. What's worse is I woke up to find out that someone had stolen my electric push bike from my house.... This absolutely blows for me, I loved that bike. I've been thinking about taking out 2k from the bank to goto the casino to try to win it back but I've been down that road before so I'm just gonna sit here upset and try to get on with it. !!!! !!! !!!!! : (

Good idea Chubb, gambling will feel like the answer as you are upset and angry but think back to when you were on day 1 and how uspet and angry you were there. It sucks about your bike but don't let that trigger you to going back.

Sorry to hear about your bike! I'm a week in and looking at others stories on here.. Your honesty and commitment has really inspired me so thanks for that. Looking forward to being 25 days behind you all the way (so you had better not mess this up 😉 ) hope the hangovers gone. Cheers

Day 33 - Thanks Argie100 - Just reading through your story and I think we've shared a very similar path. Just hit 30 myself and I I feel like I have missed out on a few things because of gambling. One thing I do honestly feel though, and I'm not just trying to put a silver lining on our situation, is that I genuinely think we have these addictive personalities that were gonna lead us down some sort of twisted path like this at some point in our lives. The good thing is we've hopefully got it out of the way, learnt from it and it's not too late for us to turn things around.

Best of luck racking up those gf days!

Hit the nail on the head! It's the thought that 2 minutes of weakness can throw away any amount of hard work that has been out in. Seeing you up around 30-40 days give me target and belief someone in the same situation as me is going strong so I can too. Long may it continue!

Day 35 - Holy cow, the police found my bike! I saw a feature on one of those current affair episodes about bike thieves and how you should always report it to the police so I did (not expecting anything at all) and someone handeded my bike in around 100km away from my house! I know it's very small, but really gives you a bit more hope when this sort of thing happens : ) Good luck on another Gamble Free day everyone!

Great news Chubb andeven better news that you didn't let that lead you to gambling. Big test passed and you have your bike back. Chin up!

Day 36 - Just made the final payment for this online course I'm doing! I've been working a lot less (so that I could study for this course) and been paying huge amounts for this course and I still have spare money in the bank! Back when I was at my gambling peak I was working 2 jobs (including weekends) and had a house full of renters and still I had no money saved up, just shows how much I was flushing away regularly. Feeling good about life again! Good luck on another gamble free day everyone.

Its amazing when you realise how much time and money you have available. When i think of what i lost out of savings it doesnt even take into account my wages that i was wasting so it probably doubles the losses. Oh well, its done now and im working today to try and earn it back (or for a holiday which im currently looking at!)

Day 39 - agree with you 100% kt93. Try not to think about the money too much though, it's really not that important. Best of luck on another day. Poor Amir Khan, brutally knocked out. Was it worth the gamble?
