Day 55

We had a slow lunch service with around 16 guests dining. ive been given a bit of extra responsibility as i will be helping largely with our cocktail evening that we do each month. Im looking to get a new laptop so what i think im going to do is save around a £100 a month and buy on as a moving out present. Im also going to start up a pension and pay back people a bit slower than i am now. there needs to be a fine line between paying of debts and having money to enjoy things.

Day 56

Not much to say really I started work at 3 and it went pretty smooth. I found out one of our bar team is leaving us in the new year. Which is a shame but it's nice that people move on with their lives when they need to.

Day 57

Bit of a blur as I had too much to drink and I have a pretty bad hangover from it! Played pool and snooker all day to be fair and not a lot else. Did resist the temptation to play the fruit machines which isn't easy after having a few to drink!

Day 59

Still felt really rough as i got barely any sleep after travelling back on the same night. so the whole day was a struggle! in the evening we had a wine tasting and i was able to learn about some of the wines from work. then we went out for a few drinks after.

Hi Sam

Great going 60 days well done on your hard work, I think abstaining every single day is going to drain us at times, it won't last keep

pushing through and keep winning.

Day 64

Wow! oh how time flies! my target is 18 months and ill beat my record for not gambling. at that point i will have crushed most of my loan and i can be free. i feel for everyone on here at gambling ads are forced down your throat wherever you look. i just have to keep it together because i cant afford any blips at all! proud of what ive done so far but will be a lot happier when my money situation gets alot better. have a nice day all
