Great post. It was a blessing. It has enabled you to begin trying to lead a normal life rather than a split life. It was an expensive day but cheaper in the long run. 3 weeks is good but still long way to go... keep going pal you're doing good.

23 days today.

This is a day I would normally have spent most of it in the bookies. Off work and money available.

Keeping myself busy by doing some jobs at home. Going out for a few beers tonight with the boys so looking forward to that.

Staying focused and taking it one day at a time but so far so good.

Day 25 almost done.

Had a really good weekend with no urges at all to gamble.

Don't miss those evil machines one bit!

Pay day today. Transferred all my salary straight to my wife's account for her to drop feed it back to me.

Determined to stay focused. Next target is 50 days.

Just watched The box punter moving on programme on YouTube. It's pretty powerful and really hits home how damaging this awful addiction can be.

Today is 33 days without a bet and after watching this I'm more determined than ever to keep it up.

If people haven't seen it I would definitely recommend.

35 days.

No urges to gamble and not thinking about it anywhere near as much as I was.

My wife has been amazing and is running my finances for me. Feel like I'm starting to value money again thinking about everything I spend.
