So sorry not been around much lately but have not been in a good place.

Going to grab those horns of life just like you and start those baby steps again as determined to enjoy life again.

LOL so your phone had the same fate as that pager. Kinda sucks when that happens. Suppose far worse when It's your own though and not a company thing. But hey sounds like your set with new and better. Yeah loosing your contacts gotta suck. Wanna say through u.s. cellular they have contact back up where your names and numbers are saved. But yeah don't think it backs up games so yeah those would suck to loose. LOL know I play a few a would be bummed if lost to the toilet. LOL

So back to work with ya hey, always sucks after time off. Kinda reminds me got a 3 day weekend coming up and memorial day on Monday which means day off with pay for me. Yeah I'll take that one with a smile. You just know that grill will be fired up for sure with burgers and brats. Kinda a tradition for that weekend and i won't be breaking it. LOL beer before, during and after to be sure and just kinda slaps a big smile on my face just thinking about it. LOL 3 more days to get in work wise so almost half way there.

Should give my boy a call back. He gets one free call a day where he's at and time is up when 15 minutes is in. Guess we weren't done talking at the time and told him I'd call him back. Phone is always busy at that place and couldn't get through before I fell asleep any way. LOL so yeah be trying my luck at that one again.

Weather here is nice out today and gonna POP that window open finally. Hate to do all that when I'm sleeping cause yeah you know how that goes. Lawn mowers, weed eaters and construction starts up. LOL

Congratulations on getting to a year gamble free, that is certainly a big achievement, and as you mention, its been a heck of a ride! I'm proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with you and I hope I'm chasing those demons away with you for a long time to come.

It isn't always an easy journey, and there are high and low points along the way, but the important thing is that you didn't give in to those urges. I'm raising my glass (its orange juice this morning!) to your second year of recovery!

Hey girl that sucks about the back. Must be something going around Cause yeah guy at work hurt his too yesterday. Backs are tricky, Hell already threw my out just shaving my legs. LOL dam, for a while there couldn't get out of my car without tossing it out. Hope It's feeling better today.

As far as the phone calls with my boy goes. He gets one free call for 15 minutes every day. If i call him we can talk for up to a half a hour before ya hear a beep and ya got about a minute to finish talking before it disconnects ya. LOL so yeah the half a hour is good and being that phone is shared with probably 15 people or more ya really couldn't expect more.

But hey that boy got his level today and be moving his stuff to the next unit as we speak. Yeah he'll be getting them new shoes sooner than I expected. LOL boy I gotta tell ya girl I'm all happy about that, But here's the story. Between his dad and I that boy has a fair amount of income coming in. He had according to him about $120 in his account there. That boy loves to shop from catalogs but don't like when he orders stuff and and fines out its not in stock and is given a credit with the place instead. So yeah last Friday he said he had the staff there send me a money order for $100 so I could shop on line for him and he kinda knows instantly if It's in stock. So yeah last Saturday I spent the morning online and calling him back and forth getting what he wanted. Ended up spending like $125 on a tee shirt and a hoodie. He got the tee shirt today and yeah I got a email message today saying the hoodie is out of stock. LOL sh-it it said in stock when i ordered it. LOL but anyway this money order so far is a no show and don't know what to think of that one. LOL he did ask if i got it Monday and Tuesday so really think he sent it. I know snail mail can be slow but thinking within 6 days should of been here. Kinda makes me wonder if it cost a $100 for him to get moved to the next unit. LOL Lol Lol guess i don't want to tell this boy that check is a no show cause yeah that would make him pretty angry and more than likely get him back to the unit he just left. Yup I think he'd be confronting who ever wrote that check with his fist. LOL Lol Lol what's your thoughts on all of that?

LOL It's about 8 at night here and about to hit the shower. Yeah now days sending a letter via post office compared to internet is definitely snail mail. LOL Lol Lol Yup using post office normally takes 3 days to send a letter any where in the united states.

Yeah that boy will be getting them shoes that's for sure. But Yup he changed his mind on the ones he wanted so need to get that straightened out. LOL

Dam think I watch to many of them prison movies cause yeah a lot of that under the table stuff going on there. Hell if that's the way it works to get him out quicker I'll be sending him lots more money to send back to me. LOL Lol Lol

Awe sh-it girl you know the routine and yeah answered ya back on my thread. LOL yeah definitely staying out of the radar too. Lol

Almost did it again but caught myself a few words into it. LOL just woke up and a only a half a cup into that first cup of Joe so still about as slow as the snail mail. Nope didn't come yet and not really expecting it to. LOL yeah my boy is all settled in and already checking out catalogs. He's gonna get them shoes but not till next Friday. Hell had to cough up $267 for 3 months of car insurance along with the other bills, plus covering that check that never came makes for a shrinking checking account. LOL yeah he wanted to make up for the hoodie that didn't show and now has got a $50 pair of sandals coming his way. So yeah them $200 pair of trainers will wait till next pay day. LOL he didn't have a problem with it and understands I ain't made of gold. Hell plus I didn't think he'd be leaving that unit that quick. LOL

Yeah gambling to try to get them funds quicker has never worked in the past and pretty much a guaranteed fail for the future. LOL

Yup one more night to get in over here and It's the weekend. Just know it will be a long one cause they always are when it comes to time off. LOL did a little cleaning around here this morning but didn't tackle it all. Got a few odd and ends to get done around here like huffing that air-conditioner up from the basement and getting it in the window. Always hate that job and the thing is no light weight, but it will get done cause I ain't sweating me a-ss off in this joint this summer. Lol

Well ouch and holly cr-ap girl, sorry to hear all that. Sounds like ya be hanging in biker bar. Hell back in the day when I be a bar hound you had your normal safe bars and then there be them kick a-ss biker bars. Yeah me and my friends would always start out in them safe bars, but a hour or 2 before bar close we'd be heading to them biker bar. Hell they always had way better after bar parties. LOL Lol Lol guess right now I wouldn't know a safe bar from the other cause It's just been that long. Guess your best bet would be hitting them bars Monday through Thursday's cause yeah come the weekend all the animals are let loose. LOL hope your the picture of healthyness when ya wake up cause yeah that Sh-it can leave a mark.

Done with the work load and finished up most of the cleaning load here when i got home. Still need to vacuum but that ain't happening today. LOL kicking back with a cold one and waiting for my boy to call before i get in a few hours sleep. Dam girl sure am happy It's the weekend and sure hope yours only gets better.
