Well hey girl and Sunday it is. Sweet ya got out of work early your last night of work. Believe you me I would of loved to pull that one off. LOL night really sucked. My 3rd shift buddy has to go in 2 hours early Monday night to meet with the higher anarchy so to speak. LOL just hoping I didn't add to his troubles. My supervisor asked me how he was that night about changing lights and just said he wasn't happy. No more no less and end of conversation. When we took break is when he told me this supervisor came back and talked to him about coming in early. Not sure if It's about the bulbs or them wanting to switch up his area that he cleans. Guess he had a few complaints this week on different things. So yeah didn't make for a good end of the work week. Hell didn't get much better as the night went on either. Was doing building check at the end of the night making sure all doors are locked that needed to be so we could arm the place when leaving. It's a big school so yeah do it via peddal bike. LOL 2 separate alarms for the place gym area has its own since It's always used over the weekend and the rest of the school on another. Well of one of the doors leading into the gym area from the school part wouldn't lock and yeah don't know sh-it about being a lock smith. LOL all I knew is if I don't get it to lock I be making phone calls to folks who don't like to answer their phones so early in the morning and weekends. LOL Lol Lol so yeah got me buddy and between the 2 of us we managed to pull parts off the thing till it wouldn't open from the gym side. LOL Lol Lol yeah slapped a note on both sides of the door saying don't unlock and a half a hour later secure. LOL engineer or the schools lock smith will be playing with that one Monday I guess.

So yeah couldn't wait to get out of there and head home for that beer. But yeah train be making that wait longer yet but eventually did get there. LOL downed quite a few of the things I might add. Got some decent sleep in and finished up them episode's of weeds. Started watching Orange is the new black which is basically a tv series of a bunch of women in prison and pretty good I might add.

Yup that be my Saturday and up at 4:30 in the morning today. Working on that first cup of Joe and sure there will be a few more to follow before I hit that shower. LOL plan on checking out the dollar tree later. That's a store where everything cost a buck and just like browsing the place. Most of the stuff is junk but do find that must have thing on occasion. LOL was gonna plant some flowers but the weather a little iffy with the cooler nights yet so gonna wait till next weekend. Grilling up some marinated Greek delight chicken breasts later, with a few cold ones of course. Guess there's a few more iffy projects on the to do list that probably won't get done. LOL Yeah plan is not to over excerpt at anything today.

Thanks Sandra that was a much more sensible response than mine as why should I be driven away from something that has helped me so much in the past.

I have been struggling recently and although I don't bet on sports I just thought that was so deliberately antagonising and rather than respond it was easier for me to back away.

Instead I will try not to read threads which I know may be inflammatory as I would miss you and other friends on here.

Hey girl and hope then cold ones don't bring ya the head banger I have this morning. LOL Yeah bought a 6 pack of the redd's strawberry ales yesterday and didn't agree with my brain some how. LOL Lol Lol Yup won't be on my shopping list again.

Yesterday was beautiful day and this morning joining ya in the rain. LOL we been getting a lot of the stuff over here too. Can't say I've been doing any running threw it though. LOL decided to plant them flowers after all. Neighbors were all out there planting away so thought I'd keep up with the Jones's. Picked up 3 window well covers too and replaced them. 2 of them always seem to get backed into pulling out of the driveway by my neighbors on the other side of the duplex. LOL Yup heard that crunching sound more than a few times on their way out. Hell should just give them the bill. Actually they were pretty cheap, $4 a piece on clearance. They were kinda a off size and not real sure they'd fit. All the rest were $18 a piece so yeah probably stop back this weekend and pick up like 4 more and be good for the next 2 years. LOL Yeah he ended up knocking on my door Saturday looking to use my lawn mower. Said the free one someone gave him didn't start. LOL kinda looked like a kids toy to tell ya the truth. LOL Yeah I started tinkering with it a bit but Yup like most guy's they don't wanna be shown up by a women and he put it in the garage real quick. LOL Lol Lol guess I would of suggested changing the oil and spark plug and cleaning the air filter should he cared to have listened. LOL hell cost of probably under $10 but nope let him blow a $100 on a new one I guess. LOL Lol Lol

So ya off all week? I gotta do the same old same old for Monday. I'm jealous girl.

LOL that door just kinda separates the school area from the gym area and is magnified open to the wall most of the time. Yeah just gets lock during after school activities and weekends so no big deal really till the weekend hits again. Guess we only arm the building on weekends cause someone's always there during the week. Summers It's armed nightly and would sure hope It's fixed by then. LOL

Yeah got some good sleep in this weekend too. Hopefully catch a few more hours before i go in tonight. Usually don't happen on Mondays though and up 24 hours or more straight. Doing some massive raining out right now so yeah always makes for good sleeping, though I'm sure the sun will be out and shining when i decide to catch that snooze. LOL Lol Lol if anything won't have to go water them flowers any way. Well got one hanging on the mail box under the porch that the rain can't hit. And yeah kinda reminds me my one from last year went missing. LOL hell after it dies off in the fall it hangs there till I reload it again in spring. LOL Yup thinking my new neighbors on the other side of the duplex didn't like the way it looked and got rid of it. LOL that bit-ch Lol yeah lived here 14 years and no one ever has messed with it before so yeah thinking she's the culprit.

Hey girl, bad a-ss week work wise, but hell It's the weekend and I'm leaving that s**t at their fu-cking door. LOL Lol Lol yeah ain't even gonna go there. Nope no gambling and all is looking pretty fine. Got me some fine tenderlions and a London broiled ( just love ya folks there in London and a must do on the grill once I seen it. LOL) sh-it got me some raspberry twisted tea too which ya can bet your a-ss has got some alcohol in it, and yeah think me and twisted are gonna get along quite well together cause Yup thinking were one of the same. LOL Lol Lol yeah you just know I'm downing a cold one and loving every molment of it.

Well hey girl and happy b-day to ya. That sucks about the phone and know how ya feel. Didnt drop mine in water but just dropped it and the screen shattered so bad it wasn't even useable. Yeah didn't even have it 6 months and cost me $300 at a discount. LOL had insurance on it with a $150 deductible. Hell the year warranty didn't cover the screen and sure wasn't paying $150 for something that turned to pieces that easy, so yeah just had my old one hooked back up. Did ya have insurance on yours and is it worth checking into? If nothing else may dry out and still be useable.

Did down some beers yesterday. My boy kept me up half the morning looking for clothes he wanted on line. LOL got in a few hours sleep and got in the lawn mowing. Finished watching the first and only season of orange is the new black. What a kick a-ss ending and can't wait for the new season to start. Started watching the tv series house of cards and awesome show too. That netficks has got some pretty good shows going on and the best $8 a month I ever spent. LOL

Working on getting in the shower. Gonna hit the car wash and do a little shopping later I guess. That car needs a good cleaning inside too since the windows seem to be getting thicker with whatever and harder to see threw. LOL Yup the grill will be fired up for them fine steak and some cold ones to boot. Kinda just want a nice relaxing day and dam it I'm gonna have it. LOL Lol Lol

Yeah them phones don't do so well after they take that plunge. Hell happened to me with a work pager once.Yup had it in clipped to the side on of my pants and when squatting to use the toilet it went for a swim. LOL Lol Lol yeah I fished it out and brought it to my supervisor and explained what happened. His face kinda turned white and he asked did it fall in before or after I used that toilet. LOL Lol Lol I told him before and it didn't get tinkled on. yeah that pager was never the same since. Kept getting messages to call this same number of a person who didn't call and he was getting kinda annoyed with it. Yup wanna say them pagers were replaced with phones shortly after. LOL Lol Lol

Had a pretty good day yesterday. Got that car cleaned inside and out, did some shopping, grilled out them steaks and drank more than a few with the neighbors on the other side of the duplex. Yeah was grilling when he came out of the house and offered him one of them twisted teas. He excepted then thought should offer one to his wife too. Yeah she was up for it too and wanna say there was a few mango mikes hard rock lemonades involved as well as a few beers. Hell dam near wiped out my alcohol supply. LOL Lol Lol looks like I'll need to be stocking up again soon.

But yeah all in all not a bad day. Monday and yeah hate the thought of starting the work week again. Hell sounds like your looking at some time off and I'm jealous. LOL hope your night at work went well and your enjoying your day off

Dear diary,

Well, I made it to my first milestone - 1 year g free today. What a journey!! I spoke to one good friend yesterday, I shared my frustration and anger for myself, cause I still have urges to this habit. I couldn't understand why I keep getting urges.. Last week was the worst. Maybe cause it was building momentum in my head, I always take it day at a time but nagging voice in a back of my head says yea you are cool, some reasonable time g free, let's b a bad girl and hav a little slots time. It's weird how your mind can work. Of cause I stick my fingers up to this voice and staying on a straight and narrow.

My diary seen it all...my life is in these pages of my journey. I let a lot of anger out, I cried, I questioned, I shouted and smiled...every day is different, but life is so much better without gambling in it. This recovery opened the opportunities to unknown and I'm taking my life by it's horns and making some sort of use out of it. No more escaping to slots, good and bad days are still here, but I can cope with them...I can bravery deal with issues head on...even if this habit lays dormant I'm always on alert and having my bat at the ready!!!

Day at a time, I thank this site and everyone on here, because without you all I wouldn't be here and wouldn't become who I am now....this honest and better person. Many of you dear soldiers become my friends, I treasure, respect and value with all my heart. No money can buy what I have now. This journey of a thousand miles began with a one small step on 20/05/2013 and I keep making these small steps forward...forever.
