I have always thought on the whole the mods do a pretty good job also. Some of them try & lead with recovery based questions that largely get ignored in favour of money chat & the evil gambling industry. Or what someone had for their dinner.

Hi Paul ( it is easier to call you that ) :)) , Great to read that your feeling great as it alway's makes this recovery malarky a whole lot easier if we take a positive stance about it , I know we find ourselves in all sorts of situations because of the carnage we leave in our wake but If we manage to put the brakes on gambling and come to a stop then what's not to be happy and joyfull about , I'm a great believer of think happy be happy wherever possible and to take all the positives we can along the way .

Not to far until you get that first month back under your belt , so that's always a good first milestone :)) .

Stay safe my friend and it's good tio see your footprints around the forum :))

Best wishes Paul .

Alan

Well done pjc....sounds like you are working on the things that cause you to gamble. Very positive.

Wish you the best.

Well done YOU!!

It's clear that you are taking things seriously to stay gf and are reaping the benefits in so many ways. Sometimes I think we forget about the way we had become whilst under the gambling spell - the deceit, frustration and low moods.

Your wonderful wife is standing by you, as is mine, and I know that they must see through the illness/addiction to appreciate the honest loving qualities that remain.

Good luck with everything buddy
