Just a quickie to say I think it went pretty well, but it's sometimes hard to tell with these things. They said they will be notifying people in the next few days of the outcome, so fingers crossed!

Didn't get it : ( BUT...

Was told they were genuinely impressed with me, and that on an average day I would have got the job - but the standard of applicants was unusually high. They asked my permission to keep hold of my details, incase anything came up in the next 6 months, and I don't think they would bother saying that just to make me feel better.

So I'm disappointed, but it feels good to know that I performed well at interview, and there was nothing I did wrong, to c**k it up. More interview experience under my belt, and positive feedback on my performance.

Hey ho! : )

Thanks for your post on my diary freda.

It brought a lump to my throat and certainly gave me food for thought.

Thanks again and sorry to read you going through a hard time at present, but looks like you are taking positives and getting on.

Without sounding patronising in the past you most certainly would have gambled but you very rarely mention the G Word these days, and just shows how much stronger a person you have become.

well done and Thanks again.

Winning post.

Thanks guys : )

I'm humbled by the support I've gotten. It's lovely.

wp you are spot on mate. I would have been off to gambling world, where you don't have to feel anything, but you end up homeless, way back when. Not any more. I deserve to be happy, as do we all. It is just a shame it is such an epic fight for some. All you need is persistence and effort, and sooner or later someone will throw you a frickin bone ; )

Hi Freda... good stuff on the interview and the positive feedback. Very similar situation occurred with my mate a while back. He didn't get the job but they also kept his details and a month later they did offer him a job. See what happens eh.. onwards and upwards... S.A 🙂

Have been dwelling a bit on the underhand way the government are bullying disabled people. I usually keep stuff like this inside my head, but thought a rant might help me move on, and let it go.

Did anyone see the panorama programme the other night, with the young girl who was profoundly debilitated, and couldn't even make a cup of tea? and she was declared "work ready"??? It is so scary, because everyone knows what they are doing is wrong, but they are the law. No-one regulates them! The government can do what they like. It is a form of genicide - particularly with the mentally ill, who are often driven to suicide.

Arrrgggghhh!!!!!! they are sooo disgusting!

Hi Freda... Thats deficit reduction in action. I'd imagine that the people who are actually making the "work ready" decisions are working to targets for getting folk off benefits. I don't suppose some assessors (with a narcissistic personality perhaps)give a d**n about folks as long as they get their bonus..!! thats the way of things in todays society, unfortunately.

Onwards to better times... S.A 🙂
