Thanks GT, wish I could be as positive as you!

I am very, very proud of myself today. I have returned to my old job, but at a new site. I hardly slept, and found the day excruciating with chronic anxiety - but I did it. I was very brave!

That will hopefully be as hard as it gets, as I was being watched by a supervisor all day and even though he is a cool dude, I found it very anxiety provoking. We work in a job that could kill a child if you make a bad error, so it is not easy when you are nervous.

Hi Freda

Sorry I was just about to copy you a link when my son decided to throw his bottle up on me.

Glad you sorted it. I had to do it every week last year until our landlord eventually replaced our boiler.

If you bleed rads again, start with the furthest from the boiler, then check the gauge and top up the pressure as necessary. Keep topping it up before each rad and you can't go far wrong.

Have a warm and happy night. x

Thanks Del,

Well, today is day 114 and all is well.

Taught a local womens group how to make balloon models this morning. I really enjoyed it, and the women all had a good laugh. It was really good for my confidence! 🙂

I am also very happy to say I have lots of money left over from my weekly 'allowance', so can treat myself a bit next week.

Just goes to show what life can be like when we don't gamble.

You must have really enjoyed that time with the balloons!

Enjoy your little treats with your spare money.

Thanks gt,

Yeah it was really rewarding. The women all have mental health issues like myself, and the support worker said it was the first time she had seen one of the women laugh - she has been going for years! Can't put a price on that 🙂

Feeling a bit low today. Nothing specific - and sometimes happens after a really good day. Just more of a contrast then, I think.

However, this feeling will pass over of it's own accord. No need to gamble to escape it.

Day 115.

Thanks for your lovely post, Freda.

That must have made you feel really good, making that particular lady laugh.

They will be asking for you again!

Thanks GT

Well, day 118 here. I went back to work this morning, and was very nervous. I'm very pleased with how I coped, but it will be a difficult few days whilst I get back into the swing of it.

I just have to keep doing my best, and think positive.

Not easy when you are full of cold, mind! lol

Its been a really tough day, but I made it through!

I'm knackered, but I am feeling more positive and confident after my first day.

I'm so glad we adopted our little rabbit 🙂 he is sooo cute! I love him so much. That is the meaning of life - love. I have so much love in my life, that I am truly blessed.

I am really struggling to cope after having a near miss at work last night. A pupil almost got knocked over - and although it was through no fault of my own, I have lost my bottle a little bit. I was shaking this morning and found it very stressful. Been crying all morning. I am going to have to admit to the supervisor when he comes out that I am not coping. I don't want to lose my job, but I am doing my best and I can't help the way I feel.
