Thanks for the message yday! You have come a long way with your ability to post pictures lol! I remember my double decker but yday a lifelike picture of me leading a race well I was impressed :)!

I so often think we really 'get' each other and that means whilst we cruise along nothing much needs to be said! What's important is we both know that if there is any deviation from our current middle we would be there in a shot for each other! That's what this site is all about and that's why I respect you so much!

I, like everyone else, enjoyed reading your post from the other day and would like to echo what everyone else has said about the fabulous turnaround shown by your daughter. You must be very proud.

I enjoyed reading the last paragraph regarding money not being the greatest benefit from not gambling. I realised this within a very short period of time and have wished there was a way to relay this message to new members ever since. The mental benefits are what makes this journey so special. The small things that we never thought of at the beginning. Unfortunately, these feelings and emotions cannot be explained they have to be experienced. Like you say - stick with it.

Selfishly I am just going to post on my own thread tonight , promise gang not going to make a habit of it .lol

My day , ......

Reads like a weather focast , started sunny , then a really bad storm , which calmed down after about five hous . Then the sky's cleared and the sun came out .

At times really stressful , but you see in my middle you sort of ride the storm , not try to run away from it , or hide from it .

Days like today , would have seen me fist full of £20s looking for that escape , convincing myself I needed it or I deserved it .

Ummmmmm, well you know what I didn't , cause riding the storm ain't that bad . Just life I suppose .....

Not once did I verge out of the middle lane , so alls well that ends well.
